Well, that's the end of Kentucky's season, based on what I've seen the last few games, this team doesn't belong anywhere in the tournament. This isn't Kentucky basketball.

If you beat Florida this weekend and then get a draw of quality opponents in the SEC tournament, I could see them playing themselves back in.

Beat Oregon by 23 without our best player, not bad.

Unlike last year's team that bought in 100%, this "team" is full of a bunch of individuals who don't want to change. Watching tonight's game, you could see the main offender was once again Alex Poythress. He was only on the floor 19 minutes....the other 21 minutes, he had Cal in his ear on the bench. A player who just never bought in this year. Ryan Harrow hasn't been much better this year. I would rail on Archie Goodwin, but at least he didn't give up tonight. Wiltjer? Can never be a starter because he's too big of a defensive liability. He played a key role off the bench of last year's championship team cause all he had to do was come in and launch from 3. When asked to contribute more on this team, it didn't quite pan out.

Obviously, this all disappears if they manage a win against Florida at Rupp. But this group only has 36 hours to figure it out. They haven't all season, why would they now?

No way this team beats Florida, although I did think the same away about the Mizzou game. I still don't see it happening, it's a longshot, especially under the current conditions. Mizzou is kind of like Kentucky, alot of talent and promise, but it just didn't come together like it should. Florida is very good team, and we have no business being on the floor with them.

This team is just mailing it in, it seems. No way this team should have lost to Georgia, especially with an off game from KCW. I really can't believe the piss poor effort I watched, This was a bubble game, and it looked like it didn't even matter to a few players. cough cough Poythress..

Akron is going to have a great season ruined because their point guard decided being a drug dealer was more important. They are struggling tonight at Kent State.

UConn ends the year with an OT win.

Hell of a first season for Ollie. Fought really hard all year, 20 wins, a couple signature wins like Michigan State and Cuse.

Assuming everyone comes back we should be really tough next year.

For once, Kentucky showed some heart today and they got a huge victory against Florida. Very impressed with the effort Alex Poythress showed today (why can't you do that every game?). Willie Cauley-Stein played some smart basketball down the stretch with four fouls. We needed him. Archie Goodwin still drives me crazy, but when you grab four steals, I won't be too hard on you.

After a dud of a game against Georgia, it was good to see them come out with some passion today.

Obviously a huge win for Kentucky. Gotta assume they are in as of now but they probably need to win at least one game in the SEC tournament. They probably don`t want to see any upsets in any of the conference tournaments.

Another great start for the season for Minnesota to only finish the year playing like garbage. For as much as they pay Tubby, Minnesota should get a lot more from Tubby.
