Could have been a block or a charge. Either way some team would have had a beef.Comment

I'm happy and nervous at the same time. I'm happy we're going to the title game but I don't know how we're going to handle the Louisville press - we looked extra scared/lost bringing the ball up late.#WashedGamerComment

I think it more caught them offguard than anything. The entire gameplan against Syracuse was about finding ways to beat the zone. They probably didn't spend any time all week prepping for a press.
Louisville is clearly several steps above VCU, but they did much better against VCU's press because they knew it was coming. I expect they'll perform much better against Louisville's press than they did in the second half vs. Syracuse tonight.Comment

Yeah, seeing Cuse successfully press was a quite a shocker.
Very interesting match up for Monday night. My gut says UL but who knows, still a lot to mull over."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

I dunno if Michigan will win or not But I like our chances. I'm not worried about Burke bouncing back. I think the key will be Stuakas.

It's amazing looking at the stat sheet for this game. It looks like a crime against the sport on paper yet it was insanely entertaining.
- MCW - 2 points, 2 dimes, 5 TO in 36 minutes
- Friggin Rakeem Christmas was Cuse's 3rd leading scorer with 5 points (tied w. Southerland)
- In a match up of "elite" PGs, McGary and Triche led their respective teams in assists.
- Stauskas and were Burke were a combined 1/13. Throw Hardaway in there and it's 5/29. Just AMAZING that Michigan won looking at that. That alone shows you the impact McGary had on this game.
- Michigan having 17 dimes on 21 FG is about the only sexy stat lol.

LMAO @ Jimmy B...dude is sooo whiny when he loses. People hated Calhoun, hate Pitino for being sore losers but they do it in such a fiery way. Boeheim does it in his own way."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Michigan outrebounded Kansas 35-34, was even with Florida 34-34, and outrebounded Syracuse tonight 36-32.
Anyone that's spent any amount of time watching Michigan basketball over the years has this reaction to that:
