Two best players played terrible, SU would not beat many teams when MCW scores 2 points. This SU team over achieved big time this year so props to them, never would have imagined them in a position to go to the NC game.

Yeah, I was ready to blast through my ceiling on that one.

Best thing about that McGary pass is he looks off Fair to a spot where there isn't even a Michigan player.

I know I was confident going into the game, and I honestly didn't mean to come off as arrogant or anything before. I apologized for that before but yeah, just wanted to re-emphasize that.

Good game Michigan, and good luck with Louisville. Neither team really played well today, and Syracuse really didnt deserve it with how they played. Just tough to see it end the way it did with 3 questionable calls in the last two minutes, but hard to complain when we made it to the Final Four when nobody really expected that.

Anyways, good luck. I'll be rooting for you guys.

He doesn't strike me as a very happy person.

I've met him a few times working at the bank in Syracuse where he has his accounts. He's actually a really friendly guy. Agreed to sign a jersey for me next time I see him too.

Though the other employees say he was cold and stand offish in his earlier years.

Syracuse's lack of offense was always going to be a problem going up against one of, if not the best, offenses in the country. That was their downfall because they held Michigan's best players in check for the most part. The difference was McGary's ever-adapting game. I cannot believe the run he's had. Every time I expect him to be neutralized in one way or another, he just finds a way to impact the game. Like I said before. What a gamer!

I'm sure Louisville will take this into account and not play well so that streak continues.

Rebounds: 37-33 Michigan and Michigan shot over 33% from 3. Match-ups. Now we'll see how Michigan's big stash of ball handlers take the press. I remain optimistic. I was honestly frightened of Wichita State winning because they look so much like Wisconsin. In any case Louisville is a great team and we should have a great game tomorrow!

Sidenote: it seemed like Stauskas didn't really play at all. Does that always happen when his shot isn't dropping?

He's mostly an offensive player, doesn't do much on defense. Was LeVert the main sub for him? LeVert's pretty good, too, probably a better defender.

Even with Stauskas's off night Michigan had the highest 3P% of any team against Syracuse in the tournament, largely due to LeVert and Albrecht.

I think tomorrow title game should be really good. I'm not surprised Michigan made it this far, they have a lot of talent. It should be interesting to see how their guards handle the Louisville pressure. I thought they would handle VCU pressure before they played them but Louisville and Pitino are different. So I don't know what to expect there. Peyton Siva is going to need to shoot better for Louisville to win but I think Behanan will have a big game.
