As long as they all sign and qualify the 5 guys Rick got will be a really nice class, one of the better ones he's had at Louisville.

My guess is Calipari. Everything that goes wrong at UL is his fault, why not this one?

In all seriousness, Jerry Meyer tweeted that he felt this had to do with shoe affiliation. If true, just another reason why shoe companies are one of the worst things to happen to college basketball. It may not be something that happens as often as people think, but it happens enough to make it wrong.

In all seriousness, Jerry Meyer tweeted that he felt this had to do with shoe affiliation. If true, just another reason why shoe companies are one of the worst things to happen to college basketball. It may not be something that happens as often as people think, but it happens enough to make it wrong.

I honestly have no idea what happened. I was just shocked to see that he decommitted after everything that was said. With all that said, I did hear about the shoe company ordeal and I do know the Coach P was scheduled to visit with him tomorrow but he has since cancelled that visit. So I am taking that to mean that we are either out of the running or coach P isn't wasting his time with him.

I don't think Rick goes after guys after they decommit, I don't believe he went after Q Snider when he decommitted. Good luck to Blakeney and I hope he's happy wherever he ends up.

Yeah, once a player decommits, then Rick stops recruiting. Rumors are that Blakeney is going to commit to LSU, but again its rumors and a teenager were dealing with here.

If he does go to LSU, then LSU just got themselves placed back on the map since Shaq was there. Between him and Ben Simmons, and whoever else they have, they should be a pretty good team for at least a year.

UL still has a very good class coming in though and should be set up for more success barring injuries, which for some reason seems to be plaguing UL the past couple of years.

Yeah, its disappointing to lose a commit but he wasn't our "entire" class. We still have a great class and as long as we stay healthy, we can make a deep run in March.

Another big get today for Texas A&M today in 4 star big man Elijah Thomas. That is A&M`s 4th 4 start commitment in this class. They have the number 2 class right now in 247sports composite rankings.
Rick Stansbury is going to be a huge hire for A&M for on the recruiting front.

Said it on Twitter a few days ago, but the class UW is bringing in for 2015 has me way more excited for next year than this year. Wish we could skip past this year.
