It's that time of the year; who is in... who is out... who are the number 1 seeds. Deep inside the halls of the internet, the Operation Sports NCAA Selection Committee will try to answer these questions. Hopefully come Sunday, the OS media will not be too harsh on us.
The initial goal of the committee is to vote teams into the tournament, that we believe are locks. As the week goes on, we will continue to vote teams into the tournament and at some point start to seed them.
For our initial ballot, please use the template provided here:

When you are done filling your ballot, please email [email protected]. Save the file as Initial Ballot Member # with your member #. Also please don't abbreviate team names, spell them out as SAINT JOHN'S, VIRGINIA COMMONWEALTH, etc. The only exception to this for now is UCLA.
On one side, you will find AT-LARGE SELECTIONS: This is where you write in all of the teams you believe belong in the field as of now. This list cannot exceed 36 teams ( the # of at-large teams). You don't have to vote for 36 teams here, it can be 28 or 30 or 35, etc. On the other side you will find UNDER CONSIDERATION, this list has no maximum. This list consist of all teams you believe deserve consideration for the tournament but you have not made up your mind on them yet.
DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE WRITE A TEAM IN ON BOTH SIDES. IF THAT HAPPENS, I WILL REMOVE THE TEAM FROM BOTH SIDES OF THE BALLOT BECAUSE I WILL NOT TRY TO FIGURE OUT WHERE YOU ACTUALLY WANTED IT.
For a team to be voted into the field on the initial ballot: They must have at least 5 of the 7 committee member votes in the at-large section.
If Kriech gets back in this, that would change to 6 out of 8.
For a team to make our under consideration list: 1. They must get at least 3 committee members to write them in under either the at-large or under consideration section of the ballot or
2.They must have won their regular season conference title.
After the initial ballot is done, I will reveal who has made it and who is under consideration. From there, we will rank our top 8 teams on the under consideration list and the top 8 vote-getters will be put onto our next ballot for voting in teams as an at-large.
If you believe a team is missing on the under consideration or shouldn't be in the field, you can call for a vote on this matter.
