They heal too quickly, even with adjusted sliders. So you end up with players missing 2-3 months only with a torn achilles or ACL, or returning from a six week injury within a fortnight etc

Let's be honest though, 2k relies very heavily on players being able to customise and control all teams. The "smarter" sim logic is interesting, it kind of confirms that the base CPU logic sucks and doesnt consider trades properly. I wonder how much extra processing time will be needed for better CPU decisions to be made, and if it will also affect free agency and contracts?

Plus at this point I'm just yelling into the wind, but why does creating an expansion team still only allow you only three jerseys and one limited court design? Is it really that hard to bring it into line with the rest of the NBA?

Also lol at announcing the inclusion of the Valkyries as a feature.

They end up being usually 2-2.5x faster than they should. I thought it used to be attributed to the medical staff badges, but even when removing or turning them off, it still is faster than it should be. I get around it by tracking them and then going in and fixing them so they are out as long as they should be (pre-season I double the length of injury, during season I add more days when they are a week away). But it would be great if they just fixed it.

I'm interested in something else, why in 2K the statistics of offensive rebounds are counted together with team rebounds, of course it's a small thing, but as far as I know, everywhere they count team statistics of offensive rebounds by adding the number of how many each player picked up personally. I'm a fan of statistics and for me it's important.

Why would offensive rebounds be separate from total rebounds? They are always counted together with defensive rebounds, even on the NBA site.

I mean only offensive rebounds. Look at how they are counted in 2K. If you add up the total number of offensive rebounds for each player, let's say after the match it will be equal to 8-12, this will not correspond to the statistics of offensive rebounds of the team at the end of the match, there will be more. You can check it yourself. This happens because in 2K also count team rebounds together with personal offensive rebounds of players (let's say when during an attack the ball goes out of bounds and remains with the attacking team, a team offensive rebound is counted). Maybe for someone this is not important, but in my opinion it distorts the general team and personal statistics of players. I have not seen this in real statistics of NBA teams, they only count those offensive rebounds that were made by the players. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Ah so it’s just bugged then. It should only count the OR and DR for each player. That’s weird if it’s higher. I haven’t play 2k25 in awhile but I’ll check it out because I don’t remember seeing it.

This has been going on for a long time, 5-7 years in the 2K series for sure, I didn't pay attention before, but when I started looking at team statistics, I noticed that the average statistics of total rebounds for teams during the season is 49-56, which is higher than in real NBA statistics. So I started to study in more detail how 2K counts rebounds.

If this is a bug, then I don't understand why it is impossible to fix the game's offensive rebounds for 5-7 years in the 2K series. It is not technically difficult to do. After all, the overall defensive rebounds are counted correctly, if you add them up, each player's individual rebounds correspond to the team's rebound statistics at the end of the match.

I usually buy this game for 150 because LP+50 dollars plus bonuses is a pretty good deal for me. But no LP, this game is 40 dollars too much for a mid franchise mode and I don't play the other modes. If the sim is 1000x better and legit, I'll buy the game for Christmas and if it's not, I'll wait till next year or buy it when it's 6.99 next July. They got lucky with LP, it basically was giving them sales from people like me that wasn't happy with the recent product but needed LP so it was a good deal nonetheless. That deal is over so I don't see any reason to buy this. It's not like CFB 26 where I brought the 150 and got a discount from the EA Gamepass. I really didn't like 2k25 and I really liked CFB 25. Madden was terrible in 25 and mid in 26.

2k is going to lose money with this game. They really need to add features within that make it much better and then they need to fix everything within it just to be worth 30 dollars. Right now, they need to massively upgrade MYNBA and Eras to be worth 50+ dollars.

It's very sad that this is what 2k has become. Purely focused in online and the park features and giving MyNBA and MyGM players the shaft.

2k is not what it used to be, i'll tell you that. They used to really care about their franchise mode players.

And people want 2k to make a football game instead of EA??

I wouldn't mind the underwhelming courtside report if it means the long standing bugs have been fixed.

The biggest thing myNBA has been missing in recent memory is polish. I would be happy if we didn't get new additions because they finally decided to clean up what was already present

the online crowd are SO happy and hyped up for the new my career and park features. They’re going to make hand over fist yet again because the money is going to come pouring in with the micro transactions. And let’s not get started on how excited the MyTeam crowd is for the new features this year

MyNBA doesn’t make them money so it’s not on their priority list. A couple people not buying the game because of this is not going to cost them money. I predict they’re going to make more money than they ever have this year.

Also, we have added some European teams that you can play with to your hearts desire. (These are not licensed but there's like 8 Euro teams)

For our older eras, we have added a trailer before you start them to get you ready for the storyline.
