on my 32nd game...finally moved to being a "starter". PROBLEM is, I have 37 mins. but this stupid coack AI put me the whole 3rd and 4th quarter. I know I can buy Gatorade to somehow solve my stamina issue. BUT THIS IS BS.....I MEAN BS.... no matter how close the game is, I NEED THE BREAK ..... SHEEZE.

I really hope 2K will address this! Also, if they cannot remove the cut-down-to-5- point lead glitch...REMOVE IT ENTIRELY!

So I have max Dunk and Layup, problem is every time I fast break towards the hoop my guy always goes for the layup instead...any way to change this?

Anyone have a good shooting form/jumper?

Buy Melo's jumper for 1,500 VC. It's too ****ing insane. I used to use my own custom jumpshot but with Melo's now, it seems like I make EVERY SINGLE SHOT. Literally I just bring the ball upcourt pop the three and get it in about 8-10 times.

Has anybody been drafted by the Blazers? I keep getting interviews with them and they always say that they hope I'm on the board by the time they pick, and yet they still keep selecting CJ McCollum. Any tips? I'm playing as a PG.

I was drafted by the Blazers initially then I asked for a trade to the Raptors. I'm a 3pt specialist PG.

Made a face-up PF and was drafted by the Sixers and it has just been a disaster. Playing on HOF and the team is 1-16 despite me playing fairly well.

The defensive AI is extremely frustrating leaving 3 point shooters open all day long, especially in the corners. Gonna be a loooooong 82 games...

Also, setting plays to Auto does nothing so it's tough to get consistent offense.

Does anyone know a great high-arching, rainbow jumper shooting form? Want my PF to kinda mimic Dirk, but don't want Dirk's exact form.

This question may not exactly be in line with this thread but I am pulling my hair out trying to figure this out......

Is it possible to use your own custom roster instead of the default 2K roster to begin a My Career? If so how do you set it up to use for the My Career?

I will be honest, this new gen 2K14 is confusing as hell!!!

Yes after your rookie season you can do that

No I'm not talking about after the rookie season I mean starting immediately upon beginning MyCareer like in the PS3 version.

You have to play the full season for the first year of your MyCareer for next-gen. Once you finish your first season, you are able to sim games and play only key games if you wish.

Player Injuries are back!

I have a scoring SF that was drafted to the 76ers.

We are about into the 1st week in January 2014 and I finally made the starting lineup. In a difficult matchup versus the Knicks were Anthony is just torching me right an left, I set a hard screen at the top of the key. Carmelo runs right into my screen and hits the floor (I have the brickwall skill) and leaves the game with a concussion (LOL). However in the fourth quarter, I was surprised to see my player come up limping with an injury. After the game there is a very cool cut scene with the team athletic trainer looking at my injury (well done 2K). I find out I have a bad ankle sprain and will be out 2 to 4 weeks. The game then forwards to 2 weeks later and I meet with the coach. He gives my the ok to play, but says he is droping me down in the rotation to get back his trust. I am thinking whatever dude, but in the first game back I still have my starting spot and minutes as before.

It's good to see they put player injuries back in the game.

^Player injuries have been back dude lol. They were in 2k14 on CG. Also that sounds kind of like a scripted event, my career is full of them. Come to think of it, the only reason i got minutes to begin with was due to a predetermined injury.

will this work? im playing on All-Star, Sim settings. If this work...i guess this is the only recourse we can do. BUT STILL 2K NEEDS TO FIX IT. I dont know if this was discussed in bugs/glitches thread.

I will definitely give this a try. SF, 3ptr (80) but having difficulties in shooting and timing. (Im using JS#4). BTW, what release are you using?

You can still increase the quarter length once you started your mode. You cannot just do it in the middle of the game.

Its not that 2k 14 game play is confusing, its the new lay out....
