This video by chris smoove kinda has me worried. Just watch the end with the scene. He put up good number and was player of the game but due to the scripting and having to follow such a "brilliant" story, the coach said he didn't do that good and needs to cut his minutes. I hope this is just some kind of glitch or something. The whole storyline thing interfering with the actual gameplay is pissing me off. I don't know why 2k thought making a cliche storyline with unnecessary drama and events that script gameplay sequences was a good idea.

I'm gonna be really annoyed if this happens to me, i'm supposed to be getting close to starting(coach said he thinks i'm ready). Nobody asked for a storyline, especially one that makes some sequences predetermined no matter what lol.

It's not a glitch, Smoove was given an objective to shoot 60%. He shot 40%.
He failed his goal, that's why the coach said he expected more.
When you get a goal, and you fail it, there isn't going to be a "Well, you still played well" mechanic.
The only scripted/predetermined thing happening is that the cutscene was shown after the failed goal. Just like the cutscene where your star player helps you with your free throws show after you miss 2 in a row. There is no "no matter what", it's if you fail to do what you're supposed to.
At most he lost 5 minutes for 2 games. Max.
It's not that big of a deal.

So pissed at not being able to dunk. That's what I get for trying to be different and changing it up making a face up PF. Guess I should have made a pg like everyone else

ZERO dunks 35 games in. I don't even care to dunk that much, but it is completely unrealistic and takes me out of the game to have the ability to do it at all.

Dunking in a game seems to be about timing and stamina, my pg when he was rated 70 dunked 5 times in a game

So now that I've broken into the starting lineup, I'm now playing the entire second half. Is this happening to anyone else?

Agreed. There should be an option for us to manually request being subbed out. I play 41 minutes for goodness sakes lol

I love playing SIM style of game, not just run-and-gun type. Love to set up and and really play hard on D.

For now, i turned from 12 mins/qtr to 10 mins/qtr. Now, my player is not that tired but stats are a bit off for my taste. FIX THIS 2K please.

I love be a starter and not always getting subbed in down double digits. Just played the pacers and blew them out early. My teammates were hitting everything. Our defense was good as usual.

I bought a green sleeve and it's showing up in the game as white... it cost like 3200 too...

I'm willing to bet that the next game (without you changing the sleeve) it'll show up green.
What I've done is exit the game mode, change the sleeve in the features menu, edit MyPLAYER (saves when you accept changes), then jump back into MyCAREER.
It's a lot of work and is kinda dumb lol

Didn't work. Whenever I equip the green one, it shows up as white when I put it on

That's really weird, which sleeve is it? Techfit? I have the blue one of those and it works fine.
