Just wow the cheese is unbelievable

Throughout 3 quarters im dominating the Lakers with the Warriors it was by 18-23 points something around there ..here comes the 4th quarter Kobe , Kaman , Gasol making everything inside every single freaking shot there was absolutely nothing i could do

It ended up going to OT because of them pounding me inside for a good 20-30 points in that last quarter and Stephen Jackson hitting the 3 to send it

Rebounding ISSUE. It was one of those moments that you "knew" that the CPU was going to score. Finishing the play, the ball was kicked out to a wide open Gallinari. This is the same game that I've been restarting, same exact stuff happening.

If my guys could make this kind of pass, without the CPU super defensive awareness, I'd go unbeaten. Triple teamed for some reason, and bounces passes across the lane behind my defender, who is oblivious that anything is going on.

I quit right after this. Going to uninstall the patch and see if there's a difference.

This nonsense is frustrating me to no end. I'm getting tired of having a great game for 45 minutes only to have the last 15 ruined by crappy programming.

Yeah on pro, i dont see these issues as mich. And some issues the OP mentions(like bad passing) are more just gameplay issues than cheating. The passing is one of them. I will say in my player the AI can definitely cheat on pro, but that could be partly due to how scripted that mode has become.

Are you guys saying there are no blowouts on this game? Ever?

            Or just in certain games?

Because you didn't lead pass into the paint. And you taking the straight lane instead of breaking it wider, you should've just euro stepped left and drew the foul since you had him back pedaling anyways.

Idk how you passed though, not saying it's your fault but looked like you just passed without leading, just tapped the button.

I can definitely say that uninstalling the patch worked wonders for the game. I just played a game against the Clippers, and other than a few rough alleyoops that the guy pushed my defender out of the way (could happen with Griffin), it played a great game. The psychic defenders were no longer present. Foot planting felt way better, everything in general felt way better. The flow was great, there were no real SUPER PLAYS, that guys came out of nowhere for the unlikely play. I actually won by 13, but only because CP3 was in foul trouble all game.

If you're on PS4, I highly recommend it. Now I'm afraid to connect the console to the internet, don't know if it will make me download the update or not.

Whatever the case, if you're on PS4, you owe it to yourself to at least play one game without the patch.

I knew things were weird with the gameplay after the patch! How do we go about uninstalling?

I just moved the stick towards him anticipating him going to the basket and pressed x and he went to the baseline instead

Try lead passing towards the paint on the break to avoid the sometimes weird AI tendencies at times.

First, go to the PS Home using the Home button, find the NBA 2k14 icon, push the options button on the controller. It'll have a "delete" option. Delete it. Then, go to the Playstation settings and disable your internet for a moment.

You'll probably have to eject the disc, and reinsert it, which will bring up the NBA 2k14 icon again. Install. Play!

Also, something is fishy going on. When I'm playing quick games, everything is fine, great. But when I start a MyGM file, some cheesy stuff starts right up again. Playing through this game to see if it's a rare occurrence or ongoing theme.

                            And... More cheese/cheating.

                            Rebounding Issue:

McLemore CLEARLY had the ball in his hands. 4 Sacramento Kings right there, yet somehow the Manimal comes away with the rebound, OUT OF McLemore's hands.

On this one, I was set to Play Conservative on Defense, also to No Shots Inside. For whatever reason, Cousins is bodying McGee up near the 3 pt line, the game moves Cousins out of the way, run the other way as McGee goes to the hoop for the alley oop. The game then decides to collapse all defense (good move), only to have one of my defenders run out towards the 3 pt line when the alleyoop is in the air.

This is the type of stuff that's ridiculous to me.

The Nuggets are on one of their "runs" where you know that the game is going to make them score. Andre Miller catches the ball in the circle, goes up, gets rejected by Thompson AS SOON AS THE BALL Leaves his hands.... Goal tending. Apparently if they're destined to score... they're just destined to score.

The problem with this is I guess that we won't be able to play with any other roster than the day 1, right?
