Didn't read the whole thread but is anybody else's player not loading up with the game?

Worked fine last night but now it keeps telling me to create a new player whenever I turn the game on.

Honestly, I'm just bummed. I enjoy it so much and the gameplay is so good - it's just an incredible flaw in execution and strategy that brings it all down. What a shame.

So are the 2K servers down for everyone or just some? It was weird, I was playing my MyGM file with no issues when I decided use some of my VC for an upgrade and got an error afterwards about the servers. It boots me back to the main menu (not even sure if I got the upgrade, but I definitely lost the 1,000 vc), and now it's asking me to create a new myplayer.

It's frustrating not knowing what is even going on with this game at times. It's basically like walking on egg shells where you're more concerned with what might break it, rather then just exploring it as a whole.

Is there an actual word as to what is going on? I just don't understand how I was able to play my save without any problems until I tried purchasing an upgrade...

Yup when i tried to upgrade my player it booted me off worked fine till then

THIS EXACT CRAP HAPPENED TO ME. WOW. (Except it was MyCareer. I really hope my file isn't messed with because I'm at all star break and about to participate in all the events.)

I lost thousands of vc when I tried to buy the escalators for gm mode. it booted me back to the screen and stole all of my vc. considering they are charging money for extra vc how is this acceptable? this is essentially stealing. Now I can't buy anything as it keeps booting me back/ This games been out a while now. Why is 2k so greedy and incompetent? If I could turn auto save off it wouldn't be such a big deal or here is a noble concept. Get rid of vc as it is trash.

Any fix for this?
