Man, I wish I saw this earlier. I just started a new my career in hopes to go to the suns, I was going to ask for a trade to the suns but now that I've seen this I would have to start all over again. Does anyone know how to go to the suns with the 5th pick? I've had interviews with them and gave positive answers and negative answers to the other teams but the suns always overlook me. Is it possible to get the 30th pick to the suns by getting a bad grade in the rookie showcase?

if you have a really really good game and out do ellis in the rookie showcase, you will be picked up by suns at 5 and ellis will go to pelicans at 6. I would not recommend trying for a trade to suns, because its fairly easy to get drafted by them at 5. No you cannot be drafted by suns at 30. I tried doing my worst in the rookie show case, fouling out getting 15 turnovers and teammate grade F i get drafted by jazz at 21.

Also when you go to the draft and if suns pick ellis at 5 and pelicans picks you at 6 just go ahead and dashboard. Once you load up your save and the draft restarts there is a slight chance that suns will pick u ahead of ellis. I tried different times dashboarding during the draft and it did change the team that picked you. not guaranteed but you could try it.

Yes you can i've tanked it on purpose and i denied other teams like the jazz wolves and i went 30th ..i don't like the Suns so i really stay away from them but they always pick me

Put it on rookie / casual settings and just kill the showcase. Triple double with a couple of steals, blocks, and 0 turnovers should do the trick. Or score like 50-60 pts.

I got to the suns as center twice. first with a 7 2' center and then made another one(6 11') due to rebounding issues. I think both games I had double double 20-10 range A+ and jax was under 10 and close to 5 boards i think. got interviewed by phx detroit iirc. for my second save ellis was drafted by suns and I was drafted by pelicans. went to dashboard(xbox one) loaded up my save. the draft started again and this time suns picked me instead.

The moment I saw a team I didn't like pick me, I go dashboard and when I load my save draft would start again. Did it like 10-15 times on a save and there is only a select few teams that will pick you. once I had a same team pick me over and over again, no matter how many times I restarted. But to answer your question, yes draft would start again, if you dashboard right away the moment your name is announced(dont let it progress to the scene with GM)

Couldn't you just exit the normal way? (press O on PS4, exit)

Dude are you picking the Suns as your favorite team prior to the draft interviews? If you are, then thats why they arent drafting you. The team you pick as your favorite will not draft you. You need to pick a different team other than the Suns and then you should be able to go 5th if you have a good enough showcase and answer the right questions.
