On 2k14. Are we going to be able to create players and add them to teams?
Will 2kshare be available? To download players and rosters?Comment

If only Derrick Coleman agree to have his license used since Kenny Anderson (2k12 showcase) and Drazen Petrovic (91 Blazers) are already in the game.Last edited by midwestking100; 10-02-2014, 01:48 PM.Comment

Re: Running List of Classic Teams That Could Be Added Featuring Players Already In Ga
I've been thinking there is an opportunity for 2K to please the consumers (and make some money off micro transactions) by making different versions of the aging legends available.
I, speaking only for myself at the moment, would definitely purchase legend packs for use in creating rosters. Personally, I am against micro transactions when they are required to enable or improve key aspects of gameplay, however I think this would fall nicely into the category of cosmetics and extras where they are less controversial, but possibly with the money to some people.
e.g., the Seven Seconds or Less Suns legend package. Includes rookie Stoudemire and peak Stoudemire, rookie Marion and peak Marion, rookie Nash, and dual MVP Nash. $2.00.
Totally hypothetical, of course, so the price and details may be way off. But the point is that I'll be setting up a roster for a MyGM or MyLeague and I'll think something like: "How cool would it be if I had peak Steve Nash to add to this team?" And there are a ton of players I would totally pay, in order to turn back the clock on.
I recognize that with the ability (which I love) to modify player birthdates that I could theoretically do it for myself, but I know that I wouldn't do as good a job recreating the appropriate ratings and making them play like themselves as Beds would. Just as importantly, I can't make them look like the real thing. I mean, you can't have MVP Steve Nash without that floppy, disgusting mop he wore on his head. And Vinsanity Vince Carter just looks so different than grizzled, veteran Vince Carter.
Anyway, that's my two cents...Comment

Otherwise, numerous additions and alterations have been made to post #1, including the addition of the 1996 Houston Rockets, mostly because I think it's a shame this court no longer digitally exists outside of personal computer modifications:

Reportedly, the new list of legends for MyTeam (which seem to be stuck in MyTeam) mirror those included in the 2K12 Showcase. Do you guys see any other teams that could be bolstered or created using these guys? We already included a lot of them. A quick rundown:
Nate Archibald, Bob Pettit, Jalen Rose, Bernard King, Tom Chambers, Bob Cousy, George Mikan, Dave Cowens, Bob Mcadoo, Elvin Hayes, Dave Bing, Artis Gilmore, Connie Hawkins, David Thompson, Rick Barry, Wes unseld, Bob lanier, Rick Barry, Spencer Haywood, Lenny Wilkens, Adrian Dantley, Alex English, Sleepy Floyd, Jack Sikma, Dale Ellis, Rolando Blackmann; Mark Eaton, Jamal Wilkes, Kiki Vandeweghe; Mark Jackson, Glen Rice, Kevin Johnson, Kenny Anderson, Steve Smith, Jamal Mashburn; Shawn Bradley, Cedric Ceballos, Gheorghe Muresan; Dan Majerle, Reggie Lewis, Dee Brown, Derek HarperComment
