yes sir. It is literally nba live 98 remastered. every season damn near is remastered with this mod. everything from the 70's to now is covered and a few seasons here and there in the sixties and fifties.

01-02was the last year of the Charlotte Hornets team who actually made the playoffs as a good seed, I would love to see this team on there.

You would think they can at least throw in every jersey for every team which is not too hard and every court from the 90's to now which should be selectable before the game. This way the console players can choose to make retro rosters. The players wont look as good as having a cyber face but the courts and jerseys being accurate would go a long way. Ill be back later with more pics. Lastly Daveberg have you got the ubr yet. I see you every year in these classic team threads and am wondering if you took the journey to pc yet. Hopefully you have.

I agree I'm a classic die hard and still use 2k14 because everyone says 2k15 doesn't support Vlad reditor for editing. I've replaced the Euro league teams with more retro teams and all-star teams. I'm bummed that the Sonics retro uniforms are not on the disc.

I do indeed have the UBR - it's an amazing mod, an absolute thing of beauty, but sadly I don't hit it up very often these days as I find 2k15 to be a much smoother experience, gameplay wise - it's a catch 22 situation. Love UBR for the retro goodness it delivers, but it doesn't have the gameplay feel of 2k on next gen.

Pretty torn really.

Here is an NBA roster reference of teams that could be added in NBA 2K without needing many (if any) additional player licenses. Preferably, rosters would feature at least 8 players already included in 2K, though there are exceptions ('06 Heat only have 5-6).

Asterisks (*) represent players whose presence in 2K is uncertain due to whether they're in the free agent pool (or through other means). 2K12 Showcase players could no longer be licensed, but they've been included in case they are. There is also uncertainty as to whether being featured as an assistant coach also means one can be included as a player (ex: Rasheed Wallace).

Further, I have attempted to provide photo examples of the jerseys required for the teams who otherwise do not have their duds already accounted for in 2K (as of 2K14). Please notify me of instances where teams' uniforms are not already accounted for, or cases where I have mistaken them for not already being included.

Edit: Court art reference for each team whose court art is not currently included in 2K can be found at post #79 on page 8.

Edit 2: Accessory and appearance updates have been added for the confirmed new classic inclusions in 2K16 (2000 Raptors, 2001 Lakers, and 2008 Celtics so far).

off topic: I know majority of these players are not in the game but I would love to see this team in future 2k iterations to come if possible.

Am I the only one who thinks a free agent pool of legends would be better? But only if they give us a full create-a-team mode, where we can use real NBA logos, jerseys, courts etc.

I'd be happy to have a separate game entirely for the classic teams. Either that or some kind of dlc. I would not be opposed to paying for retro stuff.

Not better but should be included. That way these guys they use for MyTeam (J. Kidd as an example) could be pulled to other game modes. Common 2k you can do it.
