I set mine at 100 initially to line up with what this offseason's projected cap was, thinking I could jack it up before year 3 as well, but oh well. No cap space for me in my next offseason.

So many people were SO excited about these modes when they came to 2k15 although MyLEAGUE is a great mode it has one fatal flaw ..its not online this alone makes the mode unplayable. Add that to the fact MyCareer and MyTEAM seriously lack content and depth and you have a game that was boring after 2 months max . MyLEAGUE needs to be Online

I just control two teams, but in retrospect I kind of wish that I had controlled all of them. I mean, I would much rather have had KD stay in OKC or go to the Lakers/Wizards than to have him end up in Denver. Other that that most of the top FA's destinations have been decent enough. I guess my main complaint so far is that over signing is still an issue. One example was Dallas signed Jimmy Butler and Wesley Matthews when they still had Parsons and Ellis.

Hopefully, they let us have a little more control in 2k16. I would prefer to just use one team, but still be able to "help teams" by signing players or makeing trades for teams even if I'm not controlling them. You know, how you could do with Association Mode.

It would be cool if you could gradually raise the cap. Although, if they didn't put it in, then it shouldn't be that big of a deal since the TV Deal would only be a year away.

I absolutely agree with the MyLeague needs to be online part, but disagree that it's unplayable offline. NBA2k and The Show are two games that I can still really get into offline because the AI plays a really competitive game. Plus, 2k does a great job catering to user by giving us options and having really in-depth mode. Madden on the other hand, has subpar AI, a shallow CFM mode with lots of restrictions, yet provides a great online league experience.

I've always said if Madden would copy 2k's offline modes and 2k copy Madden's online, then we would have two great games for both online and offline guys. Here's to hoping that happens someday!

Season 2 completed. Russell Westbrook becoming the dominant player, with 2nd straight MVP (25.3 7.5 9.5 2.7). Terry Rozier, who got the starting spot in Houston, was named Rookie of the year (13.5 3.9 6.3 1.6). Pau Gasol 6th man of the year (13.1 7.5 2.3). DeAndre second straight DPOTY (1.2 2.0). Again, most improved was a Celtic. Jared Sullinger (15.6 8.0 2.0 .9) (15.5 8.7 2.2 1.2). Coach of the year was Lucas Lucas (Nuggets 50-32). Gordon Hayward was named to All-NBA 2nd team.

We finished season at 43-39, which was enough for 7th spot, facing again LeBron, this time in Toronto.

Next post is playoffs and offseason.

During a mygm or myleague have you ever just been the gm? What I mean by that is let the coach handle the mins, tendecys, etc. If you don't understand what I'm saying tell me.

Re: NBA 2K15 Official MyLEAGUE/MyGM Thread

I'm at Christmas Eve of Year 3 of my Pelicans MyLeague.... Things started off okay. I was around .500 at the end of November and decided to make my first "big trade" of this iteration. Miami was my trade partner and they had the worst team in the leauge at the time. Figuring that I only had another season or two with 2k15 I decided to make a move.

Jrue Holiday wasn't interested in resigning so I sent him and Cleveland's 2018 first rounder (that I attained during the prior draft) to Miami for Goran Dragic. Dragic is four years older and has a pretty massive contract (4 years, 45.56M) versus Holiday's 11M expiring contract. However, Dragic is rated 85 and Holiday is 77. I figured that he would give me a better 1-2 punch offensively and that would hopefully get me over the hump. Unfortunately, I was wrong on that one as we lost the next four games and seven of eleven since Dragic came on board.

The bad news is that I'm currently 12-17 and two games ahead of Minnesota for the cellar in the West, but the good news is the West has been kicking the crap out of each other. And despite my horrid record I'm only 2 games out of the 7th seed. Obviously, there's still a lot of teams ahead of me and lot's of work to be done. Hopefully we can put together a streak and get back in the mix out West.

Having already lost Carmelo and Zach Shene (21st ovr pick) to long term injuries, now my Knicks are hurt by a hobbled Tobias Harris. Lost the last 3 of an 8 game road trip following Harris' injury to fall to 17-12. Should have another 13 games or so until I get Carmelo back following the all star break or so. If I can get him and Harris back, this is a real title contender in year 2.

We lost to the kings, Cavs, blazers 2x, and the pacers. And right now I'm looking at our squad asking what are we missing. We can no longer rely on our mismatches to get us victories. We lack defense and I as a fan of the game and former player in high school I love defense.

So I'm looking to add defense to our lineup and imo our weak spot is at the two spot. Randy foye can light it up when he is on but when he isn't he is a liability on both ends of the floor.

I have looking at a couple guys who can step in and really contribute to our defense.

                      1. Kyle anderson - 6'9 sf with point guard handles. Playing him at the two would really elevate our starting lineup. He isn't receiving much playing time. I think we can steal him from the spurs with a little negotiating.

                      2. Jeff Taylor - 6'6 guard from the hornets. He is defensive minded and not getting much playing time on the hornets bench right now.

                      3. Quincy miller - 6'9 guard who is extremely raw but has killer potential. Denver drafted him but let him go and I would like to bring him back and show the front office they made a huge mistake.

I like Jeremi grant from the sixers but I don't think the sixers will let him go irl so I won't bother going after him.

And add Maurice harkless to the list. He has the killer potential also. Just has to work on his offense. Gonna make a decision real soon

Kyle Anderson is a stud in this game. Great all around player can do everything offensively and rebound the ball. He's be my pick out of those 3. He will probably turn into a go to guy for you to be a scorer/playmaker.

He's a triple double threat every night for me, guy stuffs the stat sheet. 21 year old will be a great 2k player.

I actually think he'll be a solid pro to irl but in 2k he's awesome haha.

Can anyone tell me the realism behind these offseason brooklyn Nets moves that I made:

Dragic tested free agency and left for a huge contract with Minnesota.
So I moved Deron Williams contract to Miami along with Mason Plumlee, a 2nd rounder, and Cory Jefferson.

In return I got redundant Mario Chalmers, oft injured Luol Deng, and Josh McRoberts horrid contract and knees.

I then turned around and moved Luol Deng and Jarrett Jack to the Pistons for Brandon Jennings (seeing as they had just given big money to Reggie Jackson to start at point).

At the deadline the next season I moved Joe Johnson's expiring contract and Jan Vesely whom I overpaid 1.63m for trading purposes to Denver. They gave me back Gallinari's expiring and Kenneth Faried's 4 year deal. Nuggets were 12-38 at the time of trade and had 23 games the year before so I figured they may have done the trade as a reboot of sorts.

Were any of these moves out of line in your opinions?

Re: NBA 2K15 Official MyLEAGUE/MyGM Thread

I'm on the verge of sweeping the two-time defending NBA Champions and 2nd seed Thunder in the first round with Utah. I came into OKC on the road for the first two games.

In game 1, I snuck out with a 3 point victory. I had 3 Jazz players score of 22 points (Exum 22, Hayward 23, Favors 25). The team played crisp, efficient basketball, getting 24 assists to just 6 turnovers. Durant and Westbrook led the Thunder with a combined 53 points. I won 105 to 102.

Game 2 was a little slower-paced, which fits my defensive squad perfectly. We got the 91-72 victory to come back to Salt Lake City with a surprising 2-0 lead on the defending champs. Hayward had 21 points and 8 boards, as well as 3 assists and 3 blocks. Hood shot a perfect 5 for 5 from three to score 21 points. Exum was an all-around monster. He had 14 points, 5 boards, 5 assists, and 6 steals. He held Westbrook to 10 points off of 4-13 shooting. Gobert had 16 boards and 3 blocks.

Game 3 was the best game of 2k I had maybe ever played. I won in overtime 142 to 139. Gordon Hayward played the best game of his career. He scored 48 points, had 7 boards, 12 assists, and 3 blocks. He shot 18-28 from the floor, 4-8 from three, and 8-9 from the free throw line.

Deron Williams came off of the bench and scored 21 points in 21 minutes. He shot a perfect 5 for 5 from three and had 7 dimes.

Exum fouled out in his 39th minute, but had 17 points and 10 dimes. Favors was in foul trouble all game, so I had to dig up Danny Granger's fossil to get some minutes. He provided 5 points and 3 boards in 8 minutes and had a NASTY dunk.

For the series, Hayward is averaging 30.7 points, 6.7 boards, 8.0 assists, 1.3 steals, and 2.0 blocks, all while shooting 55%. Incredible.

Exum has broken out as a star in the series against the two-time MVP Russell Westbrook. He's averaging 17.7 points, 6.3 assists, 2.7 steals, and is shooting 52% from the floor and 50% from three.

Gobert is averaging an outstanding 19 rebounds a game, as well as 2.3 blocks. He's really the foundation of my squad and my rock. There's no wonder why he's playing 38 minutes a night.

I still need to close the series out, but I'm feeling good about this year's playoff run.
