Re: NBA 2K15 Official MyLEAGUE/MyGM Thread

I have a question guys, and I hope I'm just easily missing it, in MyLeague has anyone found a way to see a team's card including their Overview and Finances other than highlighting them on your schedule?

If this is the only way then I can't see the team card of the team I'm controlling. It's also a pain to scroll through the schedule to find each team you want to view finances of.

If you're not really sure what I'm talking about, I'm talking about this screen...

Actually they are a little I turned them up because of all the player regression complaints but next season I'm going to turn it down to probably about 55 and 55

Gotta go MyLeague if you want to edit player attributes.

Started a Heat MyLeague and I think after hesitating for a long time this might be the one I go with I'll go with for the rest of the year. I'll play all games so the first year is of major importance to me.

            Made one big trade:
            Heat get:
            Goran Dragic
            P.J. Tucker
            Tony Mitchell

            Suns get:
            Luol Deng
            Mario Chalmers
            Justin Hamilton
            1st Draft Pick from 2017

I really like to play with a good point guard, that's the main reason for the trade, also I got a decent replacement for Deng in P.J. Tucker.

Also I signed free agent Jordan Crawford, cos the team was lacking backcourt depth.
So that's what my rotation looks like right now:
            Dragic/Cole/Napier
            Wade/Crawford/Napier
            Tucker/Granger
            McRoberts/Williams
            Bosh/Anderson

Won my first 2 games, think it can be a successful season. What do you guys think about my team?

I'm running with the Charlotte Hornets in MyLeague. Doing a 58-game season with Best-of-5 first round, followed by Best-of-7 the rest of the playoffs.

Off to an 0-2 start with a 96-87 loss to Washington and an 87-82 loss to Orlando (both at home).

Kemba Walker is struggling big-time to start the year, shooting .206 from the floor. Big Al Jefferson has been a force, averaging 19-12 so far. MKG and Lance have been productive slashers and I'm getting good contributions from Zeller.

The lack of 3-point shooting is an issue I'll need to address at some point. It's tough to win when so much of your offense is paint- and slasher-oriented.

Hornets are fairly hard imo, tough to play against physical big men and they're too streaky I feel

The Hornets now sit at 1-3 following a 98-89 victory in Boston and a 114-86 loss at home (0-3 at home) to the Golden State Warriors.

After struggling mightily from the field, Kemba Walker found his groove the last two games, going for 18 and 26, respectively. The game against the Warriors was his best to-date as he shot better than 50% from the field. Walker tends to operate best outside of the confines of the regular offense; when you just call a pick for him he can find room to operate, or if you are working the ball around the perimeter he can put a quick move on the defender and get to the cup.

Al Jefferson got into early foul trouble against the Warriors, so our plan of attacking the paint had to be altered. We stayed in the game for a half, but the Splash Bros. put us away in the third quarter. Golden State is very tough to guard for 48 minutes.

The Boston win was an encouraging sign. Everyone contributed to the victory. Big Al had his way down low and Lance Stephenson and MKG did a good job of running the floor and getting us points in transition.

Our bench play has actually been a bright spot this season. Henderson, Biyambo, Marvin Williams, Roberts and Neal haven managed their time on the floor well, either keeping us in games when we are behind or building the lead when the starters take a rest.

                  Utah (0-5) is up next.

Good to see you're getting it worked out with Kemba. I was gonna suggest run some pick and rolls with him and let him create his own space and he's a great contributor.. I've also found going inside works real well with him then he will start hitting jumpers

I started a 30 teams control my league, I've never done anything like this but boy I am loving just running with any team I want to. Yesterday I played a game with the Wizards, Bucks and Hornets.. I lost to the Raptors with the Wizards and Hornets but beat the Grizzlies with the Bucks.. I ran with Milwaukee a lot beforehand so I knew their offense and ran it efficiently.

I'll be bouncing around with the lower tier teams, doing training on certain guys I want to see develop.. Think this is going to be a lot of fun being in control of the league, been brainstorming some trade storylines, trying to currently move Faried out of Denver but am having a hard time coming up with potential teams.. Any suggestions? I thought possibly New York.

After trading for Kemba, we are 4-1 with him with 4 straight wins improving our record to 8-12. In the wins he's had 3 double doubles and the last game he was able to get a triple double. He's a very good player and it seems like Rondo just wasn't the right fit.

Edit: We are now 2 GB from the 8th seed. It's obviously still early in the season.

Has any gotten the When You Wish Upon A Star achievement? Draft a once-in-a-generation prospect (rated 88+) in MyGM.

Whats the highest draft prospect you guys have seen through auto generated prospects? I'm about 5 years in and a 85 overall pg is the best ive seen.

1-2 as the Hornets. I want to make a push for the playoffs but feel I'm missing something.

I need consistent scoring, (ideally a better shooter) and a better defense. Suggestions ?

Charlotte continues its early-season slide with a 113-103 loss to the Utah Jazz. Our defense was horrible, way too many uncontested shots allowed. Oh, and this was another home game so make that 0-4 on the honeycomb hardwood (smh).

Offensively, Kemba Walker was on fire, scoring 31 points and dishing out 11 assists. Lance Stephenson and Gerald Henderson had nice games, scoring 18 and 17, respectively. Unfortunately, Big Al Jefferson was ice cold from the floor. He missed all but one of his 10 FG attempts (which were largely inside of 12 feet).

Still, when we actually manage to score over 100 points, I would think that's a game we should win.

                            Cleveland (4-1) is up next.

This has probably been asked but I couldn't find an answer...

Is there any way to delegate training intensity/frequency to the trainer? Because it's not at all realistic that the GM has any say in training players

Made a trade for nick young. He hit 4/5 threes 25 points. Exactly what I needed. It was in a losing effort, but the wins should roll in once we get more chemistry.
