My Wolves shoot so bad I can almost guarantee myself 5 offensive boards a game... predicting when they shoot I can "cheat" to the lane where they miss the jump hooks and fadeaway shots the CPU team always makes.. of course then I get my 7-8 defensive boards.... or more.. had many games with more than 12.. up to about 15 a game and one game to 20... also with a 6'5 SG

If you play with the auto playcalling .. as a SG you almost KNOW when you're not going to touch the ball on offense so it's even easier when the team just runs 3 plays over an over

Damn, I haven't reached 20 yet lol. I just gave up going for offensive boards a few games ago because we would always get killed in transition. Of course, we still get killed because every team seems to run the break perfectly, but it's not nearly as bad.
I'm also having much more success when I deviate from the play being called. Any play where I stand in the corner usually doesn't end well. I might try going full freelance in a game now that the freelance offense is much improved.

I'm wondering what team I should choose in the free agency. Since Doc Rivers is going to be your coach, I think I should just go with the Clippers to make it a bit more realistic? The pay is sadly worse than on most teams (151-394 VC per game).

Highest offer I got is 210-496/game from 76ers but that's a 2 year deal, so presumably worse than just dominating the league and getting a better offer next season. Highest one year deal is 182-448 from the Heat.

Playing as a PF so I'm not sure how it's gonna go with Griffin. Hopefully they'll just put me on C as they did for a lot of games in Toronto.

Finished my first season with the Suns. The last 4 games or so I went from pro/sim to all-star/sim and it seemed like the cheese was unreal. Turns out the Suns just suck. Last game of the season I had my best game with 35 points, then signed with the Bulls and we won our opening game against the Wizards by 19 with my guy leading the way with 29. A couple things that bug me though. 1) I'm starting at SG over Jimmy Butler who is an 80 overall to my 72. I really wish this game was smart enough to move him to SF, which is his natural position anyway, or just plain start him and bring my guy off the bench until he's legitimately better or at least closer.

And 2), and this is the doozy, NOAH IS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. He's just gone. Not in the league. It's really, really frustrating because the same thing happened to me on my 3rd season with the Bulls in 2K14. Noah just disappeared. On the upside there's some rookie PF who's an 82 overall.

Other than that I'm really enjoying the game. The Doc Rivers thing is a mixed bag. It's cool having a coach with dialogue but it kind of ruins the fantasy because I wanted to play for Thibs, but it's a minor thing. Right now I'm just plugging away earning VC to get better. I'm not buying it this year. Im also waiting for "that guy" to tell me I have my shoe deal.

Anybody else have Noah vanish from the league?

Ohh wow, I hope this doesn't happen to me. Im a SF and I started out with Charlotte, won the title and moved on to the Bulls. Im thoroughly enjoying playing with my Bulls because the roster didn't change at all from that 1st season, Im the only addition. I hope Noah doesn't disappear and Im also hoping Rose doesn't get hurt in this 2nd season so we can raise the title together, haha. I registered here just to ask how long the shoe deal takes? Seems like its different for everyone. I simmed probably the 3 weeks of the 1st season because I wanted to get to the playoffs and get to the Bulls. I still got the Jackson Ellis cut scene during the playoffs, but nothing since on that front. All I've gotten are the small time endorsements, none of the State Farm, Gatorade or anything like that.

Ughh.. chose the Clippers so that Doc Rivers wouldn't change his team unrealistically. Only problem is Blake Griffin is now the 6th man. Lol.

In my sophomore season. Just had my first real breakout game;

3rd game of the year. First home game of the season versus Chicago (PG, 75 overall, Orlando)

29 points, 12 assists, 1 rebound, 2 steals, 0 turnovers.

Followed up by a road game @ New York. Lit up the Garden. 27 points, 16 assists, 3 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block and 2 turnovers. Shot 4 for 7 from deep. 11 for 18 overall.


It's starting to click with my team mates.

How do you tweet at a player? I haven't seen any option to do that and I'm in year 2....1 game left before the all star break. I've also seen mentioned that you can tweet a "request for a big 3". can someone help with this info?

Go to the 'Social Media' tab, then once you're in there I believe you hit Triangle (or Y on XBox) and it brings up the twitter list. There's NBA Players, Legends, Teammates, and Others (which includes your agent and the companies that sponsor you, etc). If you highlight someones name and there's an X next to it, that means you can tweet them. If there's no X, you can't.

You can tweet at every NBA player, even those who aren't following you, and choose from "Say What's Up," "Friendly Smack Talk," "Serious Smack Talk," and "Ask to Form Big 3." And maybe one other one I might have forgot.

No you can't get traded your first year. It's not that bad though, at least its February when you start, so you only have to play the last 2 and a half months. If you do good, you will be able to pick any team to play for in the offseason.

No, I'm pretty sure your career starts right around the trade deadline, and since you start out on a 10-day contract (and most people had to do 2 10-day contracts) I don't believe 10-day contracts are tradeable.
