In what difficulty are you playing guys? Because my teammates can't defend nothing in HOF even in Superstar,i give a try with "sim" but looks like only affect to my teammates not the other team so back to default.

HOF is ok for me but only for me they are struggling a lot, whats your recommendation? Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english.

Yeah I think I will up my quarter length to at least 8, maybe 10 after I do some testing. Maybe this will help me have better games too, more playing time=greater chance at success (or failure lol).

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread

Keep in mind that when upping your quarter length, your player will be playing every minute of the game and never be subbed out, thanks to the broken substitution system.

I switched back to 6 minute quarters from 12. With 12, my player would be totally gassed by the 4th quarter and I was continually running into the artificial wall whereby the game had decided I had scored enough and caused every single shot taken (no matter how well timed or how open) to miss. That's just not fun.

The only problem with 6 min quarters is that other teams starters will be subbed out normally throughout the game, while your player will be on the court every single minute. So when playing against the Cavs or Thunder, there will be times Lebron or KD are riding the pine while you go buckwild on the backups which makes 6 minute quarters much easier than 12.

The cpu substitution system is bad.

I always start on 12 mins and decrease them as i get more playing time. Usually end up on 7 or 6 min

I don't know why your guy apparently never gets subbed out. I usually get subbed out at the end of the 1st or beginning of the 2nd, and again at the end of the 3rd, and sometimes a break in the middle of the 4th to get ready for crunch time.

The substitution system needs improvement (especially the "timeout with 1 second left to sub you in" glitch) but I'm still getting breathers

Okay so my Player is PG from Germany (just like me) and i loved the mode with the Camera feature and the storyline.. Channing frye was my mentor and played like ****.. i had a triple double in my first game so i upped the level to superstar.. now i have to really fight to have nice stat lines.. thats okay. so orlando didnt made the playoffs and i decided to stay there.. i wanted to see what they do in the offseason and who they draft.. they didnt do **** and draftet a 66 guy and Vucecic was hurt the first games.. we were 0-4 and i requested a trade to Sacramento.. now im in sac-town and my number got changed from #1 to #20 that pisses me off.. but i gotta say i love this mode and everybody here is hating.. i dont get it.. my only concern are the many TO because the reciever just runs away from the ball when i pass it.. but so far so good..

I've actually performed intentionally bad, like hard fouls and tons of turnovers, just to get benched only to be put back within a couple of possessions. And then repeated it for same effect.

Your team's substitution AI is just not very good, it seems to be programmed to give you as much play time as possible even if it doesn't make sense for you to be out there.

So I'm playing as a PG and I get more rebounds than assists =/ Anyone else have the same "problem"? I average 11.5assists and 14 rebounds.

Do you run with playcalling auto and run them or do you play like me, PnR, and pass who ever gets open after that? the plays rarely work for me except the ones that set a screen for me so I can score an easy dunk

That's how it worked for me in the beginning - while on my 10 day contracts, signed to the team but coming off the bench, and when I was initially made starter.

Once my numbers improved and my minutes went up (at 38 MPG now) I stopped being subbed out of games completely. The only time I'm subbed is for foul trouble, and even then I'm back in the game one or two possessions later, or once the clock goes under 1 minute in a blow-out win... that's it. Otherwise it's full 48 minutes per game every game.

Man, do I love this mode!
I mean one could sit and moan all day about issues and problems, but the sheer fun I get out of it is priceless.

I'm also glad that ranking up is much faster than in 13 (my last edition), and by the end of rookie year I'll be looking at a 75ish player with awesome defense and serious handles & IQ.

For one thing, I just wish I hadnt joined the Magic! I'm done with Vucevic, I really am. I mean every single game he misses AT LEAST 5 open layups off the pnr, cant stand him! Thank god I got my main men Frye and Harkless to work some nice offense, but I think as soon as I get a chance Im outta there!

Dude you're a PG quit crashing the boards so hard lol. You're supposed to be waiting for the outlet pass to start the fast break. Your play style is the reason you have so many rebounds, not the fault of the game.

Also 11.5 assists is a huge number. Enough to lead the league most years.

I'm right at the beginning of my 2nd year. Been starting for like 20 games now. My minutes are also up at 38. And I get those breaks. IDK what the issue is here. Maybe as I go on I'll start getting subbed out less. I did just join a new team that has NOBODY at my position. My first year I was in Detroit and they had to move Josh Smith to the bench to accommodate me in the lineup so maybe I was getting subbed out more because I had a starting-caliber player behind me.

I've had other problems but haven't had the substitution problem with my OWN player.. the lack of playing time for the OTHER starters drives me nuts.. I play about 37 minute while at least 2 of them play about 26 minutes

Same here. When I was with Detroit only me (38) and Drummond (30) were over 30 minutes. Brandon Jennings was playing like 26 minutes with Augustine getting 22. Greg Monroe was playing 29. Drove me nuts.

I usually go back IN with 9 minutes left in the 4th.. not like 2k14 where you play every minute.. the timeout issue is just stupid.. but for the first time last night I actually got to WATCH the final 15 seconds of a quarter on the sideline and nobody called timeout to sub me in and blow a timeout

Just logged back into MyCareer and noticed my player has dropped from a 69 Ovr back to 65 and most of the attribute upgrades have gone back down a few levels.

Don't really know what has gone on there but am I likely to get that back or will I have to upgrade them all over again? Also this obviously makes me wary to carry on upgrading as I assume this may happen again.
