I really wish 2K would address the shoe endorsement mystery/glitch. Some people get it easily, others don't get it at all. I have PLAYED well over 100 games so far, and cannot get the state farm assist deal at all. No matter what. I have both Sprint deals, and have met Jackson Ellis and Pharrell each one time. My first career I met Pharrell twice, but I he won't show up the second time now in my current career. I have over a million fans, very good stats, now in the playoffs my second season. Any input would be appreciated. If my career is glitched to the point that I can't unlock gatorade/sprite no matter what- I'm done with the mode. I don't want to keep wasting my time playing games if I'm not gonna get the shoe deal. And I'm not starting over for the third time. This is really ruining the experience for me.

Wasn't glitched in my experience..... My experience was in line with many that I have seen posted here and in other threads - I got my shoe deal after the all star break and toward the end of my 2nd year. 100 games is just 18 games over a full season. I had my first meeting with Ellis around the same time as everyone else. Nothing since. Most people are getting it after about 60 games played, I'm past that point as well.

Mine followed the same path as yours.... I had the meeting with Ellis too. I finally got the endorsement after the all star break. I have a buddy in Birmingham that is following the same timeline right now pretty much. I'm ahead of him so he hasn't received yet. If you don't get by end of 2nd season....I'd be concerned.

I got it after 65 games. Was. 93 overall with 4.4 million fans

They don't get endorsements but can wear any brand shoe they want till they are signed.

So, I made a big oops...I simmed my whole 3rd season thinking after this I'd get to sign my max contract and pick a big 3 to play with. Boy was I wrong...I did get my Max Contract with the Lakers, and I picked them because they were #1 in interest and I figured with Kobe gone and a bunch of Rookies, they'd have a good amount of Cap Space. I'm just waiting thinking I'm about to have a beast squad, and next thing I know I'm right back at the beginning of the season. No option on who to pick up or anything...now I'm on the Lakers with a buncha scrubs and a 50% Team Chemistry.

I'm starting to hate the randomness of this game....And I STILL HAVEN'T GOTTEN MY SHOE ENDORSEMENT

OMG, this game really does do all it can to try to sabotage ya,whether it be with turnovers or making u miss the easiest of shots or by hitting ur teammate grade Was just playing Chris Paul and the Clippers, and he is the guy im guarding, he puts up an alley hoop pass, which MY teammate swats it in the air right into our own net..and i got nailed on grade for letting my player score? wtf?!?!!?

Yes, i know team grade is easy to get and i cant even rmb last time i didnt get an A+ it just amazes me the lengths this game goes to to try to screw you over in some way

I really couldn't agree more, especially with the part about turnovers. MyPlayers over the years have been outstanding (maxed out), I've broken almost every NBA record ever made (except rebounds, 55 in one game are you kidding me??), but there are soooo many little "sabotages." And this year's game, turnovers takes the cake for me.

I've always average around 2 turnovers per game, always playing the point, 40+ minutes, 12-minute quarters, tons and tons of touches. But this years game, I seriously CANNOT get below 3. And I am ACTIVELY trying not to turn the ball over, even going so far as to change up my whole playstyle. The.game.will.always.force.you.to.have.a.turnover. or.more. The defensive awareness ai for the CPU is through the freakin' roof.

Nate Ryan, "Two-Way" PG on HOF Sim. My second season is finally over. I played my 1st season on SAC, and the 2nd on the NYK. I started on the All-star team for NY, and also represented us in the dunk contest(idk why, I am a boring dunker). Anyways, my season's end accolades were the Defensive Player of the year award, and of course the top guard spot on the NBA's All-Defensive team. Also was the top guard spot on the 1st team All-NBA. Our record was an abysmal 9-73😞. Well I re-signed with the Knicks for 3 more years, and I'll always re-sign. I think if we weren't so plagued with injuries we would've been a force to be reckoned with(mainly Melo being OUT since the 5th game of the season). Anyways it appears we have basically the same team from season 2, so let's see if we can redeem ourselves. I'm excited to get this 3rd season going.

So I finished Domination and went back to My Career and couldn't believe how sluggish my guy felt on defense. It's like I'm on skates. Had a good game against the Spurs where I shut down Parker and stole the ball 4 times from him and then the next game against Orlando I couldn't do anything. It felt like Orlando was playing on speed setting 70 or something. Totally unreal.

I finally got the Sprite/Gatorade offer and asked Pharell for support. So the story is progressing.

I have on court coach myself too but i honestly dont know what i did to get it, all i can think of is it just when u reach certain milestones or something cuz the game that i actually got it in, i did nothing differently that would likely be involved with that badge then ive done any other game, i had my average assist total and my average pt total that i get most games, but the only thing that was actually different that game then all my others was my 12 contact dunks and 16 total dunks that i did to get me posterizer but im pretty sure dunking has no effect on it.

So im thinking it either a combination of reaching certain milestones such as total points and assists, or maybe its obtained after getting a certain combination of badges.

The one thing i will say, even though on court coach helps greatly when ur not a pg so u can call ur own plays and demand the ball etc, i got to say having it as Pg is just as good, cuz now when i pass to that wide open player who is allergic to doing anything more then a pump fake, i can just hold the shoot button and force him to take the shot and not just hold a coddle the ball like its a baby. (yes, im looking at you Cato) Also when u get one of ur other players going off script and trying to be a failed hero and just plain being stupid with the call, u can demand them give it back to u and u can then maintain order on the floor.

so what was your avg pt and ast. and how many games did it take if you remember

Just after the last game before all star break in my second season with the Lakers and I got my shoe deal. Played Ellis' game and still can choose Adidas along with Nike and Jordan. Gonna go with Nike since I went with Jordan last year.

Or well, I guess i have to wait now after choosing Nike, so no idea how long until we get the final meeting.
