Is it fun playing SG? I've pretty much played PG every 2K game. Seems like SG is just like PG without playcalling?

The career is getting really annoying. I'm in my second year and signed with the Cavs. Dion Waiters is the guy that follows you, and he got hurt in the second game of the season, out with a broken arm for 4-6 weeks.

Game six of the season is the first loss against the Bulls. I play as a PF and had a stat line of 24 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists. Mind you, Waiters hasn't even played since the second game. Well, in the tunnel after the game I get chewed out by WAITERS for not getting him the ball, and that in a game where I as a big man have 8 assists. And in the social media feed it says stuff about trouble brewing in Cleveland and how this isn't my team yet. Still, in the past three games I have 8 assists twice and 11 assists once.

This is so stupid. If you gonna do scripted predetermined scenes/situations, at least make sure they make sense. This kind of crap happens so much in this game it's not even funny. It happened in your first game of a new save file. You get told you at least couldn't have played any worse, even if you have a pretty decent game with limited minutes as a unsigned walk-on on a NBA team in the middle of the season. Do they expect you to tear it up with five minutes of floor time in you first game?

SG is fun. Every SG is dangerous even a 72 rated can drop 30pts on you. I hate pg because everyone makes one. SG you are expected to score. On my rookie season with Suns had to do everything but now on the cavs I'm just playing defense and score like max 20pts a game

Okay so I'm a PG with the Pacers in my 3rd season. Derrick Rose broke his kneecap and it ended his career. He was the only PG on the Bulls roster and they start Tony Snell at PG now, so I requested a trade... and the GM couldn't find a deal!

How long until I can request a trade again?

Anyone has a particular team or player he likes to play against? I absolutely love games against Indiana, due to George Hill. He is complete garbage everytime I play vs him. Plays off-ball a lot on offense and doesn't move around much (like for example Rose/Parker who won't stop searching for space), and when he does have the ball he has a poor handle and you can snab the cookie from him often and it's super easy to defend his drives. Just an overall superb matchup for my PG. Always have a big game defensively against him.

And on offense, playing against Jose Calderon on the Knicks...Calderon gets a free ticket to the amusement park ReRo every game, he must still be spinning in his head a couple of days later. It's super easy to blow by him.

On the other hand, playing against Curry/Rose/Parker/Irving has been a nightmare, their movement in particular causes me a ton of problems, extremley strong in PnR, driving, shooting, and they all use a ton of off-ball screens to get away from me, Rose is especially good at it.

Wade he can't shoot 3 so I just sag off him and he just can't make impact and Eric Gordon has the worst shot u can sag off and block him from miles.

Ya, i can see what you mean, personally, im a very aggressive player on defense with my PG so i love games that im matched up against a guy that has no 3 point capabilities at all, dont mind so much people that drive but as long as they dont shoot 3's (indiana's hill or orlando's who cares cuz they suck) cuz anytime i cover them on a perimeter, i can play back towards the key protecting against any drives they try to make or to assist my teammates if they get burned in the paint cuz i know if they pass to my guy on the perimeter, there is no threat of a deep ball and he will just coddle it out there like a baby till i get out there to meet him.

Its these games too that really help me maintain my 4.1 steal average cuz since i dont have to worry much about my own matchup from long range when he dont have the ball, i can use my ninja's skills more to sneak up on another player that currently has the ball and pick him clean. Then if the guy im covering that cant shoot 3's decide they want to try to be a hero and drive past me, its an easy fast break for me the other way after i strip him clean

(so far in the 2 games ive played against each of those 2 teams i mentioned i average 7.5 steal/game against orlando and 6 against indiana)

Have anyone had success with forming a big 3? I asked people on the social media feed and the people I asked said something like:

"Sounds good, make it happen."

How do I make it happen? Can't talk to the GM or anything lol

I wanna know the answer to this too because I heard in the offseason going into your 3rd season the GM asks you basically who you'd want as 2 star next to you and I'm try go after derozan and iggy, derozan and Noah or iggy and Noah, this is a long shot but heck even KD and Noah or iggy and KD would be all perfect pieces for me and my lakers this loves last season on contract so I'm definetly tryna get a big 3 in LA next to my star PG. so anyone else with info on forming a actually big 3 for your team can please let us know how to make the big 3 happen really appreciate it.

I can tell you how it happened with me....but it didn't really follow any kind of script I've seen with the GM.

After my rookie season.... I signed a 2 year deal with the Pelicans. We won the NBA championship in year 2 of my career....year 1 of this deal. At the beginning of my 3rd season..... I tweeted a request to Dwight Howard to form a Big 3. He responded and said we would be unstoppable....that it sounded good. I then checked my team interest screen...and Minnesota (Howard signed with them in offseason) was number 1 on interest. I requested a trade to the Timberwolves and was traded to them.

So I'm in the final year of my contract....and I too wonder if it's been confirmed that your GM will ask you at some point in time who you want to play with. I'm most likely going to resign with the Timberwolves....as I like playing with Howard and Wiggins..... but I wonder. Has anyone here actually had the GM ask you about who you want to play with??
