My PG at the start of January in 2nd year is now 85 OVR and on SS sim difficulty I'm putting up 40+ points a game easily now. I tried going to HOF Sim and I still put up some points but my moves to the rim no longer work as well lol. The CPU kinda owned me. Plus the 3pt'ers are harder it seems.

Yes I think I have the difficulty and poor teammates figured out. I finally got my 3 pnt shooting up to 83 but I still cant get a perfect release for 3 pnt shots. It is rated as a B, Thompson who has a 89 (A) 3pt rating also hits a low percentage 3s, Curry 93 (A+) can hit a high percentage. So I think your teammates need to have 90+ rating in shooting categories to have a good shooting percentage. This is without bonuses from P&R Maestro and such. It helps a a lot when I set a screen near Curry late in the shot clock. That combined with his deadeye he hits contested 3s. If I play SS, Thompson shoots a little better. I guess the difficulty not only affects you but also your teammates. It would be a lot better if your teammates would just hit their normal percentage on every difficulty.

So got the Sprite Posterizer wasn't really going for that but I do attack the whole often with my SF.

I want dead eye and step back pro along with Chase down and D anchor. Those are the ones i want I wonder if that is one for catch and shoot. as well

I've been trying to avoid getting "Volume Shooter" like most of the others here... and had thus far managed to avoid it quite far in to my first season even though I had a couple of games where I had 32 FG attempts (more or less a couple of times). Strangely, after one game where I had 27 FG attempts... I finally got hit with the "Volume Shooter" cheese.

Also, the last couple of matches were really frustrating... I had near double digit turnovers. A bunch of them were from... offensive 3 second violations... as a PG LOL!!! I would pass the ball off (usually to Pekovic) and see my teammate start to back down/size up... that usually means they are going to take a shot. For some strange reason, the last couple of matches... they didn't take the shot and would instead pass it off. Me, being in the paint having fought for position under the rim to try and grab a rebound, would then get stuck in the animation cheese and get called for the 3 second violation. As soon as I see them pass it off, I always try to get the hell out of the paint... but I'll still be firmly attached to whichever CPU player is marking me and unable to move and pick up the 3 second or I'll get bumped around in the paint by 2-3 CPU players and get called for the 3 second which is even more annoying.

wow, i seen this topic since launch but i never felt i had to post in it. but you know what? **** it. im ranting.


every year they seem to find a way to make my career less and LESS fun. i started playing in 2k11 and i loved the game. games played naturally none of this scripted BS. 2k12 i just hated the game. 2k13 brought the fun back for me. 2k14 was ok.... but the scriptedmess was annoying.

but this game. OH LORD THIS ****** GAME. the fact 2k can call this game a simulation bball game is hillarious. you're telling me that the undrafted nobody is getting more defense on him than the ACTUAL STARS of the team? im on the timber wolves right now (2nd season) and im in the playoffs. currently in the WCF vs the thunder and its like this game decided to let nothing go my way. my teammates miss the EASIEST of looks. or just give me back the ball, while im being chased around the court at all times by 2 or even 3 people. HOW IS THAT EVEN FAIR OR SMART BALL? then to make matters worse,you got this shot fatigue BS where if i take 30 shots my guy cantn shoot right anymore? come on 2k. if you are going to try to make it that real, can you fix how horrible my teammates act? this wouldnt be that bad if for most of my games i wasnt stuck with people who act like they hare the dudes from space jam who got their skills taken from them.

this game really seems to play vs its storylineandmakes you try to act like a god from day 1.

Just utterly got destroyed by the Timberwolves. They were just hot from the get go going on a 10-0 start. Wiggins had a final statline of 35 points on 14-18 shooting and being 4-4 from deep. Thaddeus Young was behind him with 20 points, 8 rebounds on 8-13 shooting with 2 of 3 from deep. Pek had 13 boards and Rubio had 11 assists.

Lakers on the other hand were lead by me with 31 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists on 11-20, with 1-3 from deep. My points came from in the paint where I was trying to get calls and was 8-10 from the FT line. Kobe was next behind me with 21 points on 8-15 and 2-3 from 3. These guys just had our number all game and there was no answer to Wiggings with Kris Middleton defending him most of the game.

Free Sanity Tip: do NOT play on HOF if you are a pass first PG

I'm perfectly sane lol. I'm really not bothered by last season's record. I'm more disappointed with how my team was plagued with injuries all season long. My pass first style is working just fine in this 3rd season of mine. My team is healthy.

Anybody know what level of PM u have to be at to be a Point Forward. I would love to be able to play point on my Knicks squad and have Melo at 3 maybe brining Amare in as starter instead of on bench.

It would be nice if you still had option to request certain teammates. or ask they be traded away.

For All star votes what is bare minimum spot to be into be accepted.

I bounce between 5-6 spots on all star.

How many are on the roster since they just pick back court players and front court players its no longer determined by position.

10 days before the All-Star Break in season two, with us, The Hawks, sitting in the sixth spot in the conference, management decides that it is time for a change. Milsap and Mike Scott shipped out to Detroit for Monroe and Singler.

It will be interesting to see how the chemistry and dynamic of the team changes. Can't wait to get home today and play with the new teammates. Of course the first game up is with me having to guard LeBron. He'll get 35 and there will probably be 3 cut scenes and 5 tweets after the game with me getting pilloried on all sides. Good Times.

Played this game, Monroe and Singler are nice additions to the squad. LeBron was lighting me up in the first 3 minutes of the game(3-3, 6pts) as expected, but then on his 4th shot, he landed on my foot after his jumper, fell and hit his head, and left the game with a concussion(1 to 2 weeks)

Waiters 5-12, Love 5-15, Lebron's replacement their rookie tweener forward, Moncrief, 7-18, and of course Irving, 11-29. A win for us, 111-103.

Superstar got too easy. Its sad the only way to make the game harder is to make my teammates miss shots.

Got Mind games after getting tossed from game(didn't receive any VC) for sticking up for a teammate. Which triggered a few things. I got a press conference, Cover on Dime mag, and my coach spazzing out on me for getting ejected while beating Cavs by 16+ in the 4th.
We are on a 6 game win streak with a blowout win against Cavs, last 5 games were decided by 11+ points. Defensive Anchor really helps our game. We are 11-7 and 3rd in the conference.
I really kind of want to start simming games again/ I don't really want to play every game this season. Being on a win streak and blowing out Cavs, shows that we can make a run in the playoffs. The main reason I want to continue playing consecutive games is getting badges and keeping up stats. I am 3rd in scoring, 1st in Rebs and Blocks. I want to maintain that.
I know if I can maintain stats and we stay high in the conference ranking that I have a legit shot at a MVP award.
Next game is against Clips. Blake Griffin is 1st in scoring. I want to see if Mind Games affects his game. If we can continue this streak against one of the better teams in the West than I think we can make a title run this year. Our team started out slow, but getting Defensive Anchor and Jabari Parker made us a better team. The only thing is the Jabari seems to be the main starter to get least involved in games. Kemba is going to get his shots and Jefferson/Stephenson have their set plays, and I got a lot of touches. I might have try to get him more involved by passing
