I tend to simulate until the end when that happens, I don't want to lose 20-30 minutes knowing I'll see a game full of BS and "cheessiness" that I can save myself from easily. I can handle a fair loss (even a fair blow-out), but I've had too many "cheese-full" games and I'd rather to avoid losing much time on them. And even I don't get VC or my stats won't count for badges and stuff, I'm already a 89 overall and have a fair amount of badges, so I'd rather to avoid any more frustrating and controller-breaking minutes of my free time; I already have frustrating issues in my life to get more more frustrated because of a videogame.
I could handle fair losses.. but when the game puts 5-10 turnovers on ME.. on basic basketball moves (and the double team passes into the stands) and the REST of the Blazers make 0 turnovers the entire game that's in the category of bogus

whats funny is theres still less cheese in 2k15 mc compared to 2k13 mc, i started playing it again to see the differences in gamplay(i skipped 2k14) and i gotta say the difference is night and day as far as cheese goes. the sad thing is i don't know if thats a good thing. I think the comeback code in this years mycareer is worse than in other games to an extent.

I haven't had too many TO issues lately, in my 2nd year (1st with Lakers) I'm averaging only 2.3 TO, playing 12 min quarters in HOF Default (Sim is too cheese). I have been able to cut them down a lot by only making clear and safe passes, and even in that case I sometimes some BS turnovers, like the typical one when your team mates is in one place and right when you hit the pass button he suddenly cuts towards a defender and the latter deflects or even grabs the ball. And yeah, the classic double team TO, I also have some of those from that to time, but I've also been able to cut them down.

The bad thing about this is that I'm so afraid of (stupid) turnovers that I barely give "risky" passes and I average 7.6 assists this season. I barely pass it to Randle/Hill/Davis while doing PnR, because I'm afraid they will mishandle the ball and TO will be on me (another classic stupid TO). And let's not talk about alley-oops...

I think the concept of "comeback" is fair, since it happens quite a bit in the NBA, I don't think people are pissed off because of that. There are times when the other team plays really good defense and offense and they deserve that comeback, and then you have to adjust to prevent it. But most of times that "comeback code" it's just too blatant, and they won't even make the CPU play good defense, they'll straight up put pointless and forced things just to "balance things out". However, a lot of times it's not balance at all, but scripted situations to make you lose for whatever reason.

I've been lucky to not have that kind of situations much since the last patch came out, but seeing how some of you guys are really struggling with this, I don't really know what to say. I just hope they can release another patch to make things REALLY fairer, or at least work on it for 2k16, along with other things that may not have a short-term solution but should be fixed to make the NBA2K experience more pleasant for everyone.

I am a 6'4 PG with every badge besides hustle points, bruiser, spin lay-in and break starter (no idea why, I average 10+ rebounds a game and get it to DeRozan or LeBron with a dimer pass to start the fastbreak that always ends with a dunk, layup or LeBron's pull-up. Hell, I even get the assist 95% of the time or pass to assist for sure).

Any tips of spin lay-in? Which iso spin animation to use with the guard package and your way of performing it on the shot stick?

On a side note, I see a lot of people complaining about animations. Make sure your animations flow together, especially if you want your badge to activate. I took J. Wall's shot and then used all the dribble annimations besides btb from MJ (IE. Elite Pull Up 2, Normal Hop Step, etc).

Once I had flowing animations I haven't had a problem. Also, you need to remember that the AI has badges as well, so when driving the lane keep eraser in mind, or shooting the the 3 with a perimeter lockdown defender.

I am also having trouble picking up non-attribute badges such as fierce competitor, heart and soul, all time great, legendary work ethic, swagger. Any suggestions? I have Spark Plug, Cool and Collected, Pat My Back, enforcer, mind games, on court coach, floor general, road dog, laid back, friendly and Alpha/Beta Dog (It seems LeBron and I switch back and forth every in game month or so).

I am thinking because my starting lineup is Me at PG, DeRozan at SG, LeBron at SF, Love at PF, Howard at C, and Kyrie at 6th man that it may be preventing me from these. If so, I know LeBron, Love, Howard and my contract all expire the same year so I will probably look elsewhere for employment.

Also, why aren't Front Clutches included in the damn dunk packages? I run Athletic off One, Quick Drops, Athletic Hangs off Two, All the Tomahawks besides uber off two, Back Scratchers off One, Side Clutches off One, One Hand Clutch Reverse, and Windmills of One.

I would love to get rid of Athletic Hangs off Two or better yet quick drops in favor off Front Clutches. I recall in 2k14 LeBron teaches it to you along with his coast to coast.
          2k16 My Team:

          PG: CP3, John Wall, Kyrie
          SG:Klay Thompson, D.Wade, Kobe
          SF: LBJ, Melo, PGeorge
          PF: Blake, Aldridge, Duncan
          C: '06 Shaq, Cousins, Bosh

Most of my turnovers are forced by double-teams.. I'm double-teamed nearly EVERY possession now.. rarely not anymore in second year.. and it's even WORSE since the patch, with them adding in the hand-off turnovers again (seemed to go away for the MOST part in 2k15 compared to 14) The guy who should be open when I'm double-teamed never seems to be so the rare times that my pass OUT of the double-team doesn't go in the stands.. it's caught by some defender who shouldn't be there.

The ball handling turnovers I can almost understand.. except that they're mostly from running into the back of a defender (the Mark Sanchez reference earlier)

What you said about the 1st quarter is completely accurate.. you can almost ALWAYS tell the outcome in the first 12 minutes.. I sure can when my guy starts turning the ball over out of the blue. Or.. when you're ahead in the 2nd quarter and the coach decides it's time to shoot 'early and often' for offensive focus.. that USED to only be when you were losing late and trying to come back yourself.

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread

As much as I'm getting sick of all the losing since the patch.. playing the next game because it's AT OKC.. so I know we'll lose this one.. ..

My SG is 86 (almost 87) OVR.. haven't played PARK in a long time .. trying to get up to 90 b4 going back to PARK for the free VC..so I can be competitive IN PARK.. who knows if I'll actually play career games once I get to 90 OVR the way it's playing out right now.

Here's another complaint in the game play.. if I get a guy to go up with a pump fake.. shouldn't I at least be able to dribble around him? Almost EVERY time I can't get a step and the guy jumping lands on me and then plays defense again.. can almost NEVER go around the guy .. like my SG is afraid of the guy who is in the air.

Managed to lead 34-25 after the first quarter.. but I had to score 20.. on 9 of 13 shooting .. 7 boards 2 assists.. just 1 turnover so far.. the rest of the Blazers? 5 of 13.

I sat the first 7 minutes of the 2nd quarter..and .. we're LOSING 44-43 now.. it's like 2k13 all-over again.. team shot 4 of 12 with me sitting. No coach is going to leave a star player on the bench THAT long when the team is "floundering." Somehow I have to come in after 7 minutes and find my shot again?

Losing 61-59 at the half.. now have 27 points (12 of 17 shooting).. Lillard is the only other Blazers player in double figures.. with 11.. Durant has 20, Ibaka 14, and Westbrook 13 with 6 assists. Blazers shooting 49% .. just 12 of 32 (38%) if you take away MY shooting. The turnover monster has stayed away from me SO far with just 1 in the first half..

Losing 93-88 after 3.. Durant went off in the third an scored 21 points.. missed all of 2 shots and now he has 41 after 3 quarters. The game shut me down some in the third, I only have 35 now after 27 in the first half.. only shot 3 of 7. Yep.. we're losing this one to OKC.. only way to have a shot is if Durant fouls out maybe.. he has 4 fouls going into the 4th.

Durant picked up his 5th foul guarding me for an and-1 putback.. still 10 minutes left in the 4th

Lost as expected.. Durant scored 57.. that's 37 in the SECOND HALF alone.. 7 of 10 outside 8 of 10 at the line.

I had a triple double.. 40 pts 16 boards 11 assists.. 16 of 29 shooting .. just 2 turnovers for once.. but of course.. in a LOSS .. but after the game.. first time going to a press conference in forever it seems..and the press conference freezes, and actually freezes the whole console forcing a complete reset.. unplug etc.. restarted and back to the press conference..

original press conference asked how I got all the rebounds.. coming back the question changes to why weren't your teammates pulling their weight... turns out the press conference is only really about the rivalry with Durant.. .. again.. can't say I missed the stupid press conferences most of this second season.

We're now 4-2 when I get a triple double.. but 3-7 in the last 10 games.. since installing the patch.

The game is so lopsided towards forcing your player to take over that I'm up to 36.4 possessions per game.. 10 MORE than the next player.. Durant at 26.8. I (my 6'5 SG) lead the Blazers in EVERY stay *BUT steals per game. 5.3 offensive boards 10.6 defensive.. 7.2 assists per game.. 1.3 blocks per game even leads the team.. where are Aldridge, Robinson, and Lopez?

It happened to me a lot more before the patch, but maybe it's just my luck or something. I agree that the guy that should be open tends to not be open, and doesn't even try to get open whatsoever. Also, a lot of times I'll pass it to an open team mate and he won't take advantage of it by driving to the basket or even scoring a wide-open mid or 3pt shot. I'm not saying they should score in every case, but if a 80+ shooter gets wide-open shots, he should nail at least half of them; and that's not the case.

I agree about the POE being stupid and pointless sometimes. Also, it's frustrating to see how Doc will lower your coach satisfaction grade for things you are not always responsible for. Sometimes I ignore them and do what I can do to make my team win, even though it's the opposite. And you know what? Quite a few times we've won a game because I didn't follow some POE and tried to find another way. My coach satisfaction grade for the season is 63 % or so, good enough too keep Doc fairly happy and the chemistry at 100 %.

I left Doc and the TWolves really early in my second season for the Blazers.. TWolves couldn't win a game if they were the ONLY team on the court when I was with them

Lol, I feel you, it happened to me in my 1st season with the Magic. I know they weren't too good, but the team ended up 12-70 in the weak East. Needless to say they're doing better in the 2nd season, fighting for a playoff spot; a trashy team when I joined, an average team after I left. Couldn't help giggling a bit

I'm happy with the Lakers so far, even though we started very badly. We might not reach the PO, but at least I'm enjoying playing alongside Kobe and for my favourite NBA team. Hopefully we'll get some good FA in 2016

All-time and Legendary Work Ethic don't do anything so you don't really need it but they are not hard to get either. For legendary you have to shoot a good bit of shots in the shoot around before you start up your next game. I want to say you have to accept a early shoot around before the game with one of your teammates for All-time great. The cutscenes when your in the medical room or whatever.

Just got my One year deal in my first season with the Timberwolves. Not gonna sign back after the season. I have 3 choice of where I want to go New York, Lakers, or Miami.

What record did the TWolves have with your rookie season? They were 9-34 when I got my first 10-day as a rookie and we won all of 5 more games with me on that team for my rookie season

Can't remember what it was when I joined but we are 18-36 after playing 10-11 games with them. We one like 3-4 but lost the rest. Overall they are a bad team to play with. Like most teams they hesitate to shoot wide open shots.

Finally a playoffs in the sophmore year, I'm SG at bulls, playing at HOF difficulty. We ended up 1st in the conference, managed to take mvp award and stole defensive player award from A.Davis by taking 1st spot in award race in very last week.

We're matched with Knicks in the first round. Played 1st game and it was most amazing MC game ever for my team. We held momentum entire game, which never happened before, as if my teammates were cheesing like opponents usually does. D.Rose and P.Gasol couldn't miss. I only scored 11pts until end of 3rd quarter and we had double digit lead entire game. My team scored 118 points which is a record of the season i think for us.

I think something is broken in my MyCareer. Everyone just plays terrible even the opposing team. I myself can't hit **** in the 1st and second quarter, wide open good release shots don't go in. And yet in the 3. and 4. quarter I make bad release threes or contested shots. I always have 20-30% in the 1. and 2. and 60-70% in the 3. and 4. I don't know what the F is going on.

Every team I play against has the same problem. I played against the Warriors yesterday and Curry had 4/18 or something like that. It seems no one can score anymore.

Not sure what to say since the CPU almost aways shoot lights outs, except for your teammates.

What difficulty do you people that play PG play on? I barely get any assist on the Timberwolves with my PG. I can understand that since the Timberwolves don't really have shooters. I'm playing on HOF in my First season just to maximize my VC for now. When I get on a new team I might lower it if they shoot terrible.
