Microwave is easy to get. All you need to do is get the double rings on offense atleast once for 6-8 games in a row and it should unlock for you. It a lot easier if you have a floor general on the court, so you get hot faster.

Deadeye is one of the longest badge to get so it would take you a while if you don't grind it. But you need to shoot a bunch of contested shots for it.

We all struggle with our shooting. This is why I tend to drive more instead of shoot..

I shot better in my 1st game with 88 rated Outside Shooting. I think I shot 9-15(1-4 in the 4th, that 1 being at the buzzer just to get 20pts).
I have no problem getting one ring, but never 2. I never get hot. Most of the floor generals are PGs, so I would have to hope for a trade.
I try to drive more, but I haven't touch inside shooting at all, so I miss 80% of my close attempts and I rarely get a foul called.
I dont save up much VC, use it on 5 game boosts mainly.
I might continue my PF career to save up VC, haven't played that since like Nov.

It still able to get with out a Floor general but is much faster. LeBron is the only player not a PG that I know who has Floor General. But increasing you inside would help you shooting percentage a lot.

You should start saving that extra VC to spend. It adds up to another upgrade after a while. Even if you don't have any more unlocks, it is best to save it.

If I start a new career am I limited to whatever roster is updated by 2k or can I somehow load a saved roster and use that?

If we can use a saved roster, I have not figured out how to do it correctly.

I've had to stop playing the game a few times for getting frustrated with some of the same complaints many here have. I play on All-Star and Superstar Sim and there have been many times where i'm doing a simple dribble, spin and the defender comes and hits me in the back for a turn-over.

The ball goes in front of me rolls right by me but the guy behind me always gets the ball before me, their reaction to loose balls is crazy compared to me and my teammates. Have done a simple cross over and lost the ball deal with it better if the CPU wasn't dribbling through heavy traffic with no problem while I'm loosing it going around one defender.

Had many games where I go by my the defender open on the baseline and just miss a two handed dunk, I've had many games missing multiple dunks in one game and easily about 5 lay-ups right at the basket.

Then there's the turnovers where I pass the ball to a teammate 3 feet from me and the ball goes out of bounds, Myplayer did a bounce pass and the ball bounced right over my teammates head. My guy is rated 88, he's 6'7", had a smaller pg on me and I jumped to pass the ball for some crazy reason from the corner to a teammate at the top of the key, of course the ball went out of bounds.

Also hate when I'm guarding my guy out by the 3 point line then all of a sudden I'm supposed to be guarding the guy getting the pass in the post. I get negative points for it cause he's someone I'm supposed to be guarding. Many times it seems like I'm supposed to be guarding 2 people at the same time.

Just had this happen to me....twice in 5 minutes smh..

Ok 2k has got to do something about the comebacks in the 4th quarter, there absolutely rediculous. just lost another game with the same recurring theme. cpu makes everything they put up, they get a stupid amount of and ones, and got to the free throw line a ridiculous amount of times, while my team again cant hit the ocean from the beach, and get hammered repeatedly but no foul is called, so it counts as a turnover. Literally every game that i lead going into the 4th quarter the cpu makes a run at about the 5min mark(the last few times it happened i saw it started around 5:16 exactly in the 4th). Thats when and ones and contested shots start dropping like crazy, and when you look at the box score, the fg% for the opponent is normal through all 3 quarters until the 4th when they ALWAYS shoot 51% or better. The amount of games ive lost to the comeback cheese is insane, but i do acknowledge that bad teams lose close games all the time, which is why i put in to be traded to dallas. There record is .500 but with me on the team that could easily change, because they are infintely more talented than this knicks squad. But if i still lose a alot of games due to comeback cheese once im traded, then im freakin done.

IMO 2k needs to stop doing anything related to coach satisfaction, because they dont seem to understand what coaches deem a satisfactory and what they don't. The amount of times people around here have complained about the coach being pissed, even though you complete the objective is absurd. it makes you think that satisfying our coach is some big puzzle we all have yet to find out. Its mind boggling the amount of times i have done what the coach asked, yet i still get chewed out. Im just glad that im so good that my minutes or anything like that arent really affected by his unhappiness. What does coach satisfaction even do anyway?

If we can use a saved roster, I have not figured out how to do it correctly.

I remember in the past 2k I was able to play with legends in the roster. All you had to do was load the roster before you made your player.

TBH this is all that comes with 2k so it a usual. You get used to it after a while. MyCareer is great and it a mist if you love basketball.

TBH this is all that comes with 2k so it a usual. You get used to it after a while. MyCareer is great and it a mist if you love basketball.

Yeah, I had planned on getting it this past Monday since it was my birthday, but I had to order my PS4. I should have it this coming Monday though.

I've gotten chewed out for giving up too many points(4) when my teammate was getting toasted(10), for too many turnovers(2) when they didn't put me on the floor with reliable/consistent teammates and team combined for 14 without me and I've gotten told to stop taking 3s(56% shooter) because I was 1-4 meanwhile MKG/Stephenson was 0-6 from 3. The coach satisfaction crap is stupid; any coach that ain't satisfied with 20+, 15+ and 10+ WHILE holding LeBron, KD, George or Melo to 25 or less on less than 45% shooting deserves to be punched in the face and fired. As for the practice stuff, I just put the controller down and hop on OS until its over; it's not like it affects your minutes or anything.
