Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
If you play MyPark/Rec then get athlete maxed out. But if you only play MyCareer then yeah make 5he all about average with no rebounding.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
My guys build is actually really similar to what you've got going on stat wise, 6'3" PG 2nd year stayed with the Hornets. I actually started building my inside scoring up a bit and have been making some pretty cool driving layups, so that's a plus if you build up inside scoring.
Eventually I hope to max out shooting and playmaking for sure and the rest spread between inside scoring, athlete and defender.

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
All you need in inside scoring is a 85 driving layup and you won't need to upgrade it for a while. But after a while all your player does is dunk on people once you get posterizer and get athlete almost maxed.
2 games until all-star weekend for my SF. Had about 30k VC and spent on my Center for the Rec(just need tenacious rebounder). Just upgraded his rebounding to a 15-17 which gaved me a 89 rebounding. Gonna earn the rest by playing with my SF. Gonna upgrade and play on my PG last.Last edited by TrustedDegree4; 01-15-2015, 01:39 AM.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
Does anyone else think the free agency on this game is kind of boring. Nothing major ever happens in the league. I went to the Knicks (my favourite team, sadly) after the patch. So they have huge cap space considering J.R and Iman left for Cleveland, and i'm on my first contract so my contract is pretty small. And they do nothing in the summer, they get some players with low ratings. Why the f*ck can they not get me some good players except Melo to play with.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
So my career with the Magic has started out horribly. We are 0-9 for with 2 close losses and at least 3 by over 50 points. Mitch McGary has decided to attack me on twitter, even though he averages 0.8 ppg and has so many wood chips lodged inside of him you'd think he wouldn't be able to play basketball. Playing the Wizards there was some serious shot clock cheese. Game was close in the final minutes, Kris humphries has it with a few seconds left, and with a 28 standing 3 rating, nails a contested fadeaway with two people on him, and we end up losing by 4. I mean come on 2K.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
My GM made some nice trades to make our bench way better than before. We pick up Jameer Nelson and a 77 overall Rookie Center for Evan Turner and some picks. We trade Kofus and Prince for Jerebko and and Ryan Hollins which are much taller bigs and can help on defense.
Tony Allen and Courtney Lee have been injured for the whole season. Tony tore his ACL not sure when but is out for the season and Courtney Torn his MCL and should be back in 8-10 weeks. Marc Gasol just got injured with one game left before allstars weekend.
40-13 by All-star weekend. 29 games left until playoffs. Wanna make a good run to be above 60+ wins this season.
Also signed with Gatorade and met their demands a Few games ago.Last edited by TrustedDegree4; 01-15-2015, 03:32 AM.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
I forgot to ask, has anyone actually started in a team who was pretty bad and then seen them develop to a top team. I think the players doesn't increase enough in ratings considering their numbers. I had a PG career on which i shared the ball alot with Gordon,, hopping he would develop nicely, but no. He just stayed at 77 even though he put up some big numbers like 20 pts/game. I feel their development is too scripted.. I want to be able to make my team good by getting them to score alot...Comment

Just got my shoe deal before allstar weekend. Kinda nice I got it but still upset that I can't wear these shoes.
2k needs to get this patch out asap.Last edited by TrustedDegree4; 01-15-2015, 03:42 AM.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread
Agreed. Maybe it's not very realistic that everyone become great basketball players like in 2k14, but i'd rather have that than sticking around in the Knicks when THJ will be awfull forever..Comment

The Rookies are the ones that make a decent jump from the first to second season. Most of these players increase a good bit in the third season and up. 2k needs to fix this though.
