In my game, dirk just announced his retirement at the end of the season. Can parsons fill his role given his potential and consistency? If not, do you have any ideas who can fill his role?

Also, who are the big name free agents for 2015?

After the first season? Damn, way to soon for Dirkules! Was he hurt?

Parsons is more a supporting guy for me, no leader like it was Dirks role for years. Maybe take a chance and change the culture of the team, go with an defensive anchor at the 4. Don´t think there are a lot of guys who can play like him, he is a 1st ballot HOF for a reason.
If you like the system now you could look for Millsap who should be a FA after the season or Aldridge.

Other PF/C free agents: West, Monroe, Drummond, Marc Gasol

Of course there is no easy solution replacing a franchise player.

Thanks man! Yeah quite disappointed on the decision as im really having a great time with dirk. Aldridge seems to be a nice replacement but i dont think blazers will let him walk hehe

This is just a minor trade but what do you think?

Jazz Receive: Luc Mbah a Moute

Celtics Receive: Jeremy Evans

This was found in the trade finder. This is mainly a swap of bench warmers for me as Mbah a Moute has appeared in just 1 of my 19 games, and got a rebound. He was a part of a salary dump near the beginning season, and wasn't expected to contribute. I like Evans a little, so he could play a little bit, but with my other backup bigs like Zeller, Olynyk, Faverani, Perkins, and even Powell, I don't expect much. This is more of another salary dump for me as he will save me $2.59M this year and is an expiring contract like Mbah a Moute. The trade finder had a 2015 second rounder going back to Utah, but I don't really see the point in it as both are expiring contracts and don't really do much for either team except change their cap number.

Thanks for the input. I really wanted to get Vasquez from the raptors but figured the deal would be swayed too much in my favor. How about

Char receive: hansbrough and Vasquez

Tor receive: Henderson and Brian Roberts and maybe a draft pick

I'd accept that trade as the raptors GM even without the draft pick, coming from a raptors fan.

I suck with trades. I usually keep tabs on the nba rumor mill and target guys on the block or rumored to be on the block or unhappy. Then I check this thread. If I'm unsure after all that I make sure to overpay.

Doing MyGM. Going to try out a non-realistic trade career.
But this trade I found interesting. But I'm not entirely sure after comparing the two's attributes

Knicks Get:
Elton Brand(picked him up off free agency for $2.69mil 1/yr contract)

76ers Get:
Amar'e Stoudemire

They're pretty even in regards to stats. With Stoudemire being a bit better.
I don't really care about Stoudemire's expensive contract($23.41mil) since the 76ers have a lot of room.
Is there something about Stoudemire that makes him undesirable? I know he has some injury concerns. But I compared the two and Brand has a lot more increased awareness in more spots. Which makes me wonder why they'd do this deal. Maybe they're trying to free up cap space?
Is this a deal you'd make?

I suck with trades. I usually keep tabs on the nba rumor mill and target guys on the block or rumored to be on the block or unhappy. Then I check this thread. If I'm unsure after all that I make sure to overpay.

Kemba just got injured and will miss a few weeks. I decided to pull the trigger on the trade and added a 16 1st rounder to the deal.

As a cavs fan any team I can trade Irving/Waiters too for a pass first PG, Shooting 2G, responsible D players and/or Shot blockers

Maybe something with Phenoix with waiters and a pick for one of Dragic or Bledsoe, then Irving to the Bucks for sanders and wolters?

With Love and LBJ I don't need a great 3rd scorer but more of a complete team.

Lamarcus Aldridge is a Dallas native of I'm not mistaken. I'd say the mavs have a decent shot at him in the offseason.

You could go after rondo also. Kyrie for rondo deal isn't out of the realm of realism. Not sure how the contracts match up though so there will probably be other parts in the deal.

How is he injury prone? Doesn't he only have the 1 torn ACL as the only injury he missed a bunch of regular season games with. And I wouldn't worry about Kyrie being on the Celtics, because right now the pieces they have on that team are Sullinger, who can be a beast in a couple of years, and most are high on Smart but I am not one of those people. I see him a poor man's Rondo.
