Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
I'm working with the kings and I'm trying to make a deep run into the playoffs and I think all I need is a PF. I'm thinking Tristan Thompson would be the best option. What would I have to give up top land him, or any other competent PF.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
I'm looking to start a league as the warriors or bulls and I thought to help decide I would see if I could trade to get Jimmy Butler on the warriors. Probably start the trade with Harrison Barnes, but don't what else past that I'm not to good at judging value of a player. Any help to even out a trade for Butler?Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Ok I am seriously thinking about pulling the trigger on these trades (3 team deal)
Sac receive: Wilson Chandler, Ryan Anderson
NOLA Receive: Carl Landry, Reggie Evans, future 1st
Den receive: Derrick Williams, 2nd RD Pick.
I get a scoring 4 to help easy the pressure on cousins in Anderson and also a backup SF/PF that can help on both ends.
Pels get some a cheaper contract and some veteran leadership as well as a 1st.
Nuggets get an expiring contract and a 2nd RD Pick, also frees up minutes for Gallo and Garry Harris.
Thoughts?Comment

I was thinking 16 or 17 1st. Denver clear up some cap and also get a pick.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
In my "less than sim" GM mode I took over the 76ers. Accepted a deal for Harrison Barnes for Mbah a Moute and a 2017 first in December, traded three first rounders and MCW for John Wall at the trade deadline, still only won 22 games (had only won 8 before the deal) and finished with the worst record earning the #3 pick in the draft. Had solid games from Wall, Noel and KJ McDaniels giving me hope for the future. The Lake show finished with the 2nd worst record so I decided to try to bring Kobe home for his last year(s) and I succeded by giving up two firsts, Barnes and Tony Wroten giving the Lakers a chance to build with draft picks and young players.
Excited to see what Kobe, Wall, McDaniels, Noel and Embiid can do but am concerned about the lack of depth and lack of first rounders the next few years.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Switched it up and started out with the Knicks.
Roster needs some....scratch that I mean A LOT of work!
Was thinking of taking on Josh Smith seeing as how Detroit is desperate to move him to please Monroe and just help them by being an addition by subtraction type deal.
I was thinking Bargnani would be the piece I'd throw, at first I thought that was unrealistic because you guys know I am very sim/realistic oriented. Then I looked into it more and Bargnani has an 11.5 mil expiring contract, would help them out with Monroe and help them lock up him to pair with Drummond which has a ton of potential as a great front court.
Then I thought maybe they need more, like a Shumpert seeing as how I have a plethora of SGs I was very willing to toss him in there. But they have very good guard play in Jennings, Augustine, Bynum, Caldwell-Pope, and Meeks. So maybe a pick, but the thing that has me hesitant with a 1st rounder is every one and there momma knows that Van Gundy wants to deal Smith, wasn't his signing and doesn't fit the Pistons. So Smith has very little value which is why a Bargnani for Smith swap straight up may be a good trade both ways.
Thoughts?
PF knicks should look at are Mislap or a PG who can break down the offense. If you're a fan of Smith pull the trigger but without shump detroit needs to send a pick to eat that contract.Comment

Or
Eric Gordon & 2nd RD Pick for Jeff Green,Brandon Bass
I think either of these are fair tradesComment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
I'm trying to find a way to unload either Marcus Thornton or Evan Turner, or perhaps both. Obviously without taking back multiple players or another big contract, the 76ers are the best matchup for Thornton, and I was thinking K.J. McDaniels. I know McDaniels is another guard, but he isn't that standout player that will demand significant minutes, which I like, especially with Rondo, Bradley, Smart, and Young on the team. I thought with the 76ers taking on Thornton's contract, I would include a 2016 second rounder.
I'm not totally sure what I could get for Turner. I did a trade finder search with him and found a trade for J.R. Smith, but again, that would give me another guard, though he could play SF. If I did both trades, it would free up enough cap space to acquire Smith straight up for Turner. Thoughts? If there are any other trade ideas, let me know.Boston Red Sox New England Patriots Boston Celtics Boston BruinsComment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Both teams already have plenty of guards, so they would have no need for Gordon.Boston Red Sox New England Patriots Boston Celtics Boston BruinsComment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
Im The Knicks
Bargani expiring for Gallanari straight up?
Bargani expiring for Mcgee
Knicks would do this to either get a better Rim Protector... or A fan Favorite who should shine in the triangle in the 4 slot.
Denver would do this to get under the cap a year earlierLast edited by itzmotto; 11-30-2014, 02:06 AM.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Trade Discussion Thread
I'm 99% sure that Rondo was/is an all star!!! But I wouldn't personally pull the trigger on that trade as both and Green and Bass' expiring have more value than Gordon and a 2nd round pick.Comment
