Wow. that is unbelievable. Now.there is no backup plan to revert back to last gen if these issues for current gen are not addressed? Are you absolutely sure about this removal?

Painful to read. My friend and I were really looking forward to an online league with CPU teams. Now its all about MyPlayer and once I'm bored of that (about 10 hours in) then its back to destiny

I've gone through every option on the menu screen including online to see if it was hidden somewhere and could not find it anywhere.

                    What the heck????

OL completely removed from the 360 version? There goes the plan B for our 30 gentle souls that have been 7 years playing this franchise.

I used to laugh to at the idea of having to move to NBA Live, but maybe there is no other option.

Might as well have gotten rid of the entire mode. Its essentially useless now anyway. I would even settle for last years glitch ridden oa then this

It's like the game has catered to the youth and you tubers who play my team and in the park etc. they are the ones who give 2k all this free marketing. We. Are just at the bottom of the totem pole. At this point I don't even know if we're on the totem pole?

                            This is truly unfortunate.

The only way to enjoy a consistent sim style game was to play in online sim leagues. 2k has always prided itself on bringing us the most realistic experience yet has clearly been neglecting that the average shmuck you come across online in most modes plays like a raging dickhead just trying to win the game. Not only that, but year after year offline is unplayable to the hardcore sim gamer because the cpu would paint whore, fastbreak whore, and just play extremely unrealistic and cheap in general. Even if offline has been tweaked this year to operate more realistically, playing by yourself both gets old and robs us of that essential user to user competition - we are all competitive guys. At least with functional online leagues, a huge sim gaming community developed and could play with each other in order to bring the very best out of the game and each other. I dont think anybody could argue with the fact that this game and all of it's intricacies and the hard work put in to making it were on display the most in online leagues, with gamers who truly appreciate the sport of basketball and the game of 2k playing the way it was meant to be played.

Sorry for the rant, but I hate seeing my favorite game franchise of all time go downhill like this and this makes 2 straight years where I have not purchased the game.

P.S. 2k - Even single year online leagues is a disappointment. There is no reason to use the 10 young/bad teams that are just god awful. With online associations, using the bad teams was the most rewarding experience I had ever had in gaming. Building them up and beginning to crush the peers who had once crushed you with better squads.

You just have to see all the new features that MyPark and MyTeam have, the only two online modes that have been improved for ps4/xbox1. I guess that we are getting old. Nowadays kids and casuals/nbajamplayers/youtubers have taken the internet . We just don't count... the SIM community online wise don't exist to them anymore.

So I keep getting different info on the CPU teams in online leagues. The OP says no but people on the ps4 says that you can put cpu teams. Could someone in here that has the game today please try and start an online league with cpu teams in it and actually start the league and go into a game?

Im holding off getting it until this is answered for sure by someone who has actually tried this today after the update. If someone in here has tried thiy then sorry for this post. All I can find is the OP and a bunch of heresay about it.
