Nope. Didn't expect it to as the firestorm started too late. Have to wait for the next patch and cross fingers.

Re: Online leagues 2k15, The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

Well, I must admit that I was too positive given the evident focus on implementing user feedback into 2K15 ... but moreso, I was counting on what was offered: 2k11 leagues been brought back.

But as in its current state, this aint 2k11 leagues, this is a clearly handicapped/stripped down/barebones form of it.

I wasnt expecting the reintegration of the incredible interactive and functional 2k old webpage (still hope that it is fully brought back some day), wasnt expecting multiple seasons (2k11 didnt had it, OA brought the draft and multiple seasons) nor playbooks saves (didnt have that either) ... but was expecting all the other features/options that we did have with 2k11 leagues. Custom rosters tho, are a great, great addition.

I really, wish they could patch in most of what was, this certaintly opaques some of the brights of this game, not to mention that it exposes a grave disjunction between developers, producers and marketing ...

Also wish that it could really payoff the work they claim to have made to make the online modes more stable, functional and easy to repair (if need be) ... it would affect me and demenish the high level of hype and excitement that I have if not, I dont know if I would be able to stand another iteration of not been able to play online without significant issues or to not be able to play at all due to their servers/online structure (and to a point my connection, thus no other game has ever caused me this, to frequently prevent me from playing).

Anyways, looking forward to what VC/2K will do with these issues.

Can anyone verify if lgs are recording games and stats? . Apparently those same issues from last year are back again.

OMG not get all throw back on you guys. But for who those that didn't experience that. That was better then fantasy football leagues. Everyone had a place to talk about the games and everyone could watch the ticker. As admin you could controller the league from any computer. I really missed those day. You could post highlights of the game on league page. Articles were written. It was really awesome. Even when someone cheesed. People would make whole highlight packages showcasing what the person did. Trades could be made from a computer. It was really awesome. And I miss it. Really I do. I'm just shocked in this day in age with Cell phones being attached to us. That we can't access the leagues like we use to.

Is this true too? Do we need to add this to the list?

Great post ffaacc and I agree jeebs! 2k11 was awesome with the website. Posting game winners, created a forum where all our guys could go too, be at work and keep an eye on the league, post game recaps, etc. what the heck happened to that? It was such a great idea! I bet that had to be the year 2k had most users in online leagues ever?! Number 1 the game was great, leagues were best they had been, online was best it had been, and you had awesome website.

It's no wonder why ever since it's gone down hill that more people don't play this mode. Build it and they will come!

Re: Online leagues 2k15, The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

Don't remind me of how good 2K11 OL's were, because it hurts, it really does. If 2K released updated current rosters to 2K11 and put back the servers up I would have NO problem playing in a 2K11 league again.

And Vann I may be late but did you know you can't send voice messages on XB1? Also I added you as friend always says your offline dont know if I did something wrong.

They need a bigger staff, they really do. I said it in an earlier post, it's not like they have any other sports games to make, NBA is their ONLY license, "You had one job........", get it together online, it's 2015, Marty Mcfly is rolling over in his grave. I really hope Live steps up with a vengeance, not necessarily about jumping ship, more for the reason of competition so that 2K can finally wake up and step their game up, right now they're too comfortable being the sole basketball game. EA has a good track record for online stuff.

EDIT: If I'm EA here's what I'd do, put huge emphasis on online franchise/online in general for Live 15 (Probably too late) Get the word going on how dope the online franchise is, then work on the gameplay aspects and simulation for 16, 17, etc. That would be a good strategy to steal the online core base imo.

Re: Online leagues 2k15, The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

Quoting The dream- Well we were told servers have been worked on. I am playing online games and the Input lag is worse than 2k14!! I cant play onball defense, cant jump to contest a shot without waiting for almost 2 seconds. Whats going on with this online issue showing up 2 years straight? People went hushmouth on this for 2k14 but you guys need to speak up about it this year.

Haven't played online yet but offline defensive on ball responsiveness isn't great IMO. Can't imagine online. With no slider adjustments to account for lag it makes it hard. I hope online is tuned otherwise we are in trouble! And 2 years of these problems? Try 4 or 5 If not more. I'm assuming the 2 engineers for online were focused on my team and my player online areas?

Just another reason not having online sliders is a bad move!

After hearing the unacceptable news of no CPU controlled teams, that's enough for me to pass for the first time in years. No way I'm buying this year.

One of the funniest things we use to do in our league was post these Q&A articles where league memebers would ask answer question about things in the league. I use to post scouting report articles on each league member. Helped a lot of guys win championships.

But once they change the format. It really never was something I enjoyed. I came online to play human being. Not CPU controlled teams. We never played 82 games seasons. We always kept our league short and to the point. 20-30 games.

Oh well... Thank you op for posting this thread.

I've played two rank games in order to assess the online environment as it will pertain to leagues. If you're playing someone with an excellent connection, the input lag is there but not crippling. I will say that shot timing offline and online are inherently different so play as many online games as possible to adjust. The only thing offline practice is good for is to gage the shot animation release points. However it will not be a 1 to 1 translation online. Its almost as if you have to queue up the button presses online; playing randoms with shoddy connections will be brutal. All the more reason to shore up OLs where league mates have been vetted for good connections

Or recording right? So as of now it's virtually unplayable because nothing registers? Lmao! Lucky we don't start our league til after 1st official roster update at the end if the month so HOPEFULLY they fix these ASAP!

Not sure if anyone is interested but it appears as if online associations were completely removed from last gen's version of 2K15. With the barebones online leagues for PS4 some friends and I were still going to by last gen to play OAs assuming that they would at least still be there even if untouched with the same bugs existing. So I got it for Xbox 360 off redbox and I am not seeing any option to do an online association at all.

I saw where it said streak was 1, but no stats, records, or anythign resembling a finished game. I am sure this is a server thing as MLB has had this issue before. Hopefully, this is something that can be fixed as the servers settle down.
