Andy... both versions downloaded from start to finish on physical disk in less than 30 mins.

Playing a half on each system I feel the ps4 version is brighter or more fake color wise. Tbh it's a toss up. Not sure which one I'll buy. Sorry it's not really a big help.

appreciate the feedback - I think I am going to go with Xbox One since I prefer the controller and I already have Kinect.

I do have to say that one plus for Xbox one will be "record that" if I dunk on a friend. lol

I can't believe this feature isn't talked about more. I love doing this in Madden after a touchdown or pick 6 and in FIFA after a goal.

Also, the ability to watch NBA on tv while playing is great.

I have the xbox one and the facescan doesn't scan over 1,800 ref points and comes out horrible. Anyone have success with x1 scan or ps4 scan?

Ive gotten over 3,500 ref points on xbox one but it literally took me ALL day yesterday to get it right

I'm actually glad someone made this thread. I have both consoles and bought the game for both. I did the pre-load for the PS4 and picked up a physical copy of the XB1 version. In all honestly, I can't believe how much better the PS4 version looks. The XB1 version looks dark and WAY less sharp. I mean, it's a dramatic difference. I'm not sure what that's about but this will be the 1st year I'll ever play 2K exclusively on the Playstation. I've always preferred it on xbox. I'm actually going to see if I can take it back to Gamestop and swap it for something else. If not, I'm gonna sell it.

Whoa - this is the first I am hearing of this but really helpful feedback. Anyone else notice this? This was what was holding me back from purchasing for Xbox One...

I think it is pretty even in terms of facescan from what I am reading - most of it depends on lighting in your crib.

Here is a list of pros and cons I have made up to help guide with decisions. These are somewhat subjective and let me add, I OWN BOTH SYSTEMS and enjoy both immensely.

XBOX ONE:

PROS:

- Kinect (nullified if you have PS Camera) but still better with voice commands
- Controller has rumble in triggers (I actually enjoyed this a lot)
- XBOX Live: Still find this to be a better community, servers more stable, and more people use a headset)
- Watch NBA games on TV while playing - I do this for Madden all the time
- "Record That" feature great for dunks and replays

CONS

- Potentially inferior graphics (RUMOR)
- Smaller player base than PS4 (but this is all dependent on where your friends play)
- No exclusive content yet

PS4:

PROS:

- Potentially superior graphics (RUMOR)
- Larger player base
- Potential to invite players who don't have game via PlayShare (not confirmed)
- Exclusive content (timed)

CONS:

- Server issues (I still get disconnected more frequently from PSN than XBOX Live)
- Some have mentioned issues with analog control stick placement in combination with calling plays on the D-pad

Any others guys? Hope this is helpful for anyone on the fence like me...

Interesting - it is worth noting that all of the 2K Studio videos use the PS4 camera - wasn't sure if that was a marketing thing or if it actually work better with the PS4 camera. Let us know because I am holding off on the Xbox One purchase as well right now.

The fact they use a PS4 camera in their videos is purely based on the fact that the game has some sort of exclusivity with playstation ( times content). It's just a marketing ploy. Same reason why destiny was only allowed to be advertised for the ps4 when it was actually a multiplatform game.

Definitely is. Although there are cases where gameplay/demos are shown because it is the better or more preferred system.

Personally, I chose xbox 1 because of the community and I dont like the ps4 controller..

As far as graphics go I dont think you can see a huge difference between the two right now.. If I start to see a difference down the road then I will buy the 4.. But that prolly won't be for at least a year or two

I cant wait to play games while watching real games at the same time
Not a fan of Madden so I haven't done it yet

Ultimately I plan on having both systems but for 2K I'll be on the ONE this year
