      strong statement right here...

Can you give details, is it player models? Shadows? Lighting. I am loading both the ps4 and xbox one versions right now and am trying to figure out how to post video.

calm.. when i put them both in at same time yesterday i was playing within 25 minutes so hopefully its quick. After reading the previous long post with the gentleman stating the ps4 is definitely better i went back and played a few mins. Maybe it looks better to me. I just don't know. Have to return both tonight and then decide which to pick up.

I am playing the xbox one version while it loads, I have to say I am pretty damn impressed with graphics and gameplay in the quickplay heat vs spurs game while installing on Xbox one. Wow the gameplay is so smooth, HUGE difference from 2K14.

I certainly didn't see performance differences with the two. It will probably come down to controller and friends preference if you play online. I don't play nba online so it's a matter of preference if controller

Xbox is at 50% right now. I am enjoying playing the game while installing. So far I am impressed with the xbox one. I know it is a small detail but I love how the trigger rumbles when you dribble the ball. The game feels very fluid and I am impressed overall with the X1 version right now. I will give unbiased opinion at the end. But currently I can see they have really made some improvements to this game. I also already did a "xbox record that" moment. I am going to test out kinect voice commands once it is installed.

I have the ps4 and have nothing to play on it so my plan all along was to buy 2k on the 4. I feel bad for it. I have forza nhl and madden ( bundle) on the one.

Btw for you guys Watching a game while playing, isn't it tough to play on the reduced screen size? I'm on my couch not in front of a monitor etc.
Sounds like you don't have the RGB Color Range set to "full" in your PS4 Display settings. Will result in things looking a bit too bright or "washed out". Try making the switch.

The rumble in the trigger is one of those slight nuances that make me love playing this on Xbox One over PS4. I'm hoping the graphics are the same so I can go purchase today. As shallow as it is, the graphics will probably be my deciding factor...

I just wanted to say its great that there are other people like me, borderline ocd that wants to ensure they get the best version possible and unbiasedely judge it.

Yeah that is understood, this is really one of those games where people will walk up and not realize you are playing a video game, so of course the visuals are going to matter. It is one of the reasons I love MLB 14. The Xbox one version is almost loaded, then I am going to install the PS4 version.

I really hope they are at least very close in graphics, because I love the small features on xbox one. "Xbox record that", the rumble in the triggers, kinect voice commands. I will try to get a good 1080p video of both so that everyone can compare after they both install.

Amen brother. And I'm thankful that everyone here is not a fanboy and care about giving the best answer so we all can ball together in harmony.

I've gone back and forth 4 times already, pulling the trigger at like 5 pm today because I have to play me some ball tonight.

I may be imagining it but I am sure u felt rumble in the ps4 controller when dribbling. I'll have to recheck.

Appreciate the work, Calm. I think a lot of us are in this boat. As much as PS4 has gained a competitive advantage, Xbox still just feels "right" to me for sports gaming. It's hard to put it all into words, but there are small things even with the Xbox interface that make it feel better.

I'm in an online league for FIFA on my PS4 (have it for both consoles) but outside of that, I mainly stick to PS4 solely for single player. My second controller for PS4 is still in the box and my last real game played was The Last of Us. I did put quite some time into Battlefield 4 on PS4 over the summer (900p vs 720p made a difference here) but will probably go back to Xbox for COD if it shapes up to be a good game...
