@ld2k need to redo all of the shoes. its next gen i know the shoes could look way better. Instead of letting us create our own colorways you guys should create the jordan, nike, adidas, etc. that come out each month and release them. I think that would help the shoes look way better

I know this is really a stretch, but I also know that 2K is known for pulling off innovative things. And hey, this is a WISH list after all, so I think it would be really cool if they were able to have system similar to TNT for the commentary. Get one primary person to do the play-by-play every game (Kevin Harlan or Marv Albert), and then get a couple of color commentators (Chris Webber, Greg Anthony) to switch out randomly.

Screw it, how about if we just have all out TNT presentation with commentary teams, sideline analysts, and stat overlays?

Webber, Barkley, Miller won't allow for 2K to use their rights to be used as players so I don't understand why they would allow be announcers. The only reason Chuck was in a previous one was because of the Dream Team. He wants way too much $$$ to be used in the game.

I won't even buy the newest consoles until I see 2k bring back the old create team and player mode from a fee years ago. Until that happens my friends and I are content to play 2k12.

Sorry if any of my items have been mentioned before. I haven´t gone through all the pages of this thread.

            - different MyPlayers (if I want one perimeter guy career and one big guy career, I don´t want them to look the same)

            - option to have up-to-date rosters during season mode (of course in that case player trades aren´t possible)

            - ability to edit players positions or ratings (so that I have the proper teammates in MyCareer)

            - secondary positions should be used by AI in MyCareer etc.

              Re: NBA 2K16 Wishlist Thread

Give options on how MyCareer goes, like madden does. Be able to choose are you a top pick caliber player, lotto, Late 1st, 2nd round guy. Teams would place value in you, a top pick would have more pressure to perform and could be traded if he doesn't. Allow my player to get hurt, it's odd that my player is like God and can't be hurt.
Fix the rotations and stop making my player play 42-48 minutes per. By the 4th quarter my guy is done and can't hit jump shots anymore.
And make it harder to put up big numbers, especially early on. A rookie should be having a tough enough time getting 15 points rather than 50 each game.

Coaching styles affect your player. A coach may not want you taking a lot of 3's and will limit you as well as demand you play good D. As you get better the demands would become less and less.

                  Re: NBA 2K16 Wishlist Thread

i apologize if i repeat anything here. there are a few things that i feel need to be addressed to make a more "SIM" game thats true to the game.

Secondly i would like to say that the ultimate goal for me is true 100% 1:1 input/response in all areas of gameplay, being able to do exactly what we want, when we want to.

                  1. No more lightning speed defensive recoveries.
                  - if a player gets beat or falls for a pump fake they should be out of position. currently great fakes or passes are negated by the cpu (mostly) warping into position after they get beat. This happens ALOT. The cpu should recover via the correct defensive rotation not warping, and if we make the right play we should be rewarded, there are hardly any open shots generated from ball movement due to the super fast and psychic A.I.

1b. quicker shots/dunks/layups when in close to the basket, and a system (possibly rating) for players who give multiple efforts on a rebound such as k.faried, j.hill, b.griffin.
                  - nothing is more frustrating than getting open and having to wait for a drawn out animation to play out when you are wide open or with a direct line to the basket. so many blocks and contested shots happen when it should have been an easy layup. if you let players get to the rim its often over anyway by then, anyone should make a wide open layup 99% of the time. not hang with a long-winded animation or have a defender warp in front of them when they were out of position. Simply put, cpu or user, if you are out of position, you should get beat.

                  2. Vision cone for passing and defending passes, as well as a minimum distance from the origin of the pass to deflect it.
                  - Any basketball player will tell you its nearly impossible to deflect passes the way players often do in 2k. The closer you are, the harder it is to deflect passes because even the best defensive NBA players just dont have the reflexes. Passes are deflected way too often and it does not allow for the best passers to make plays typical of them because literally every cpu player has alien reflexes and eyes in the back of their head. If they dont have vision of the ball and the minimum distance (and anticipation) to make a play on the ball then they shouldnt be able to. The plays and passes that do get through feel cheap and scripted because the simple plays are seemingly impossible.

                  3. Passers should account for defenders in proximity to them that they can see when making passes.
                  - if a player is between you and the player you are trying to pass to, you should at least attempt to pass the ball around the defender. time and time again i make a stupid pass that you cant control how its thrown and it goes right into a defender, especially on post entry passes.

                  4. Dribbling should be 1:1 at all times with no extended animations.
                  - When im dribbling i want to be able to go wherever i intend to without limitation. so many times i make a play but im stuck in an animation before i can continue, and the opening is gone (think the annoyingly long pressure dribble pickup the ball animation that must play through every time). also, players should not lose the ball so easily when dribbling in the paint, it should only be when multiple players are around them.

if we can get these few things fixed gameplay wise for 2k16 and beyond we'll be golden. Heres hoping

                    Re: NBA 2K16 Wishlist Thread

Although I'm pretty happy with the control and responsiveness in this game, there are still a few areas where it feels a bit delayed and sluggish.

For the most part I'm happy with it, and it doesn't need any major control changes. I like the control layout and setup, and the responsiveness is good in most situations, but, like i said, there are a few areas where it's not quite right.

1.) Moving the ball handler forward from a standing dribble feels a bit delayed. If you are standing, dribbling in place, and you move the left stick forward to begin dribbling, there is a delay before your player starts to move. It just stands out as a delayed reaction to me. Once the player is moving, control feels pretty responsive, but that initial movement from a standing dribble to a drive feels delayed.

2.) One change to the dribbling in recent years that I don't like is when you are dribbling in place, you can no longer switch the ball to the other hand just by tapping the left stick toward the off-hand…you now have to tap the right stick. this is not a huge deal, but it was just nice to be able to switch hands during a standing dribble without even using the right stick - it felt a bit more natural and responsive. obviously once you are already moving, the ball handler will automatically switch hands as you change direction with the left stick…but i'm referring to doing it during a STANDING dribble.

3.) contact with the ball handler causes drawn-out animations that are too hard to interrupt by moving your player away from the defender. you are often sucked into the defender for 3-5 steps before you can regain control and move the ball handler out of the contact. it's not TERRIBLE, but i feel like after about 1 or 2 steps, the bump animation should be breakable by simply moving the left stick in another direction to get away from the defender and break away from the suction.

                      Re: NBA 2K16 Wishlist Thread

A few quick hits on little things, maybe mentioned already during the thread:

Gameplay: During games, in the menu options for defensive settings, match ups, etc., please make it possible to right stick click on player's names to view their player cards.

Gameplay: Please address the right stick movement input lag that occurs upon change of possession. Right now, when the user is defending and the controlled player suddenly changes to the player who completes the defensive rebound, input lag can cause the player who now has the ball to make a full court chuck shot the length of the court. This punished the user for trying to play defense using right stick defensive controls to shuffle, etc. It's a muli year legacy issue.

Gameplay: Please make CPU player reaction times to loose balls, rebounds, etc. more equivalent to user team players. Right now, CPU team player can move and react orders of magnitude more quickly than user team players to these transition elements with their animations, while user players get caught in animations that do not allow them to react.

Gameplay: I don't know how you can do it, but is there a way to make directional passing that does not involve icon passing more precise? Right now, even with practice and experience, the controller shows a high error rate in passing to the wrong target, whether using the left trigger or not. Tough to implement when players are not highly spaced and there's traffic, but right now, the stick can also be too sentitive to the first faint touch that it will pass in the opposite direction of the intended target when the thumb first gets to the directional stick to offer input.

Gameplay: Mismatches and weight/strength recognition. As an experiment, I played a game where I let the CPU play itself, but I assigned in defensive matchups one team's little guards to defend the other team's well rated scoring bigs during a run against the team with the bigs. During all those minutes, the CPU did not recognize the matchup advantages down low. When the bigs did get to shoot on the post, instead of going strong to the basket, they would take fadeway jumpers. . . and miss! And the commentary would talk about the great defense down low bothering the shot. All of this is because the momentum meter was so powerful that player ratings and strength didn't matter. And because the team with the bigs did not call time out, it could not break the momentum with high percentage plays that recognized to mismatches, even when it did stumble into making the right shot in the right pace with the right player. This is on All Star with modestly tweaked simulation sliders.

Gameplay: Post patch it is better, but there's still too much skating for user controlled defenders.

MyGM/MyLeague: For coach scrimmage mode, please make it possible to change the freelance offensive system options. If you hire a coach who doesn't run your chosen system by default, without this, you can't practice your system.

MyGM/MyLeague: Please make it possible to view your coach's default playbook and default offensive freelance settings from the coach hiring screen. It would be helpful in MyLeague to be able to edit those as well for the coach if you want.

inbounding after a made basket is still messed up - has been for years. the man inbounding takes forever before you can command him to pass the ball in. he must slowly run to a CERTAIN spot along the baseline, and then once he gets there he must pause before he is able to inbound the ball. not sure why there is such a delay to something as simple as inbounding the ball.

And if you notice...the ref does not start counting for five seconds until he gets to that certain spot AND the pause is over...which isn't good because the five seconds is supposed to start right when the inbounder has the ball in his hands and is out of bounds

Since we have experienced what General Manager typically do… I think its time for us to get an experience of a coaching stand point. Make a “MyCoach”

Make 2k16 ps4 look similiar to 2k16 ps3. PS3 2k15 looks exactly the same as 2k14 lol. game concept, actually everything looks the same.

I'm writing these off the top of my head so I apologize in advance if they are redundant off in no particular order...

                              - Make pick & roll more realistic, Now the game is too reliant on collision physics.

                              - Better off ball screens and better off ball screen defense

                              - BETTER AND MORE PLAYER MODELS (Please 2k)

                              - Ability to layer acessories and more acessories

                              - Better and more indepth shoe creator *This is huge to me

                              - Long rebounds and better ball and rim physics

                              - This one is also huge. In the NBA every team does not play perfect help and rotational defense. Please show this in the game. Too many times I set a great pick & roll only to pass and have the cpu rotate perfectly to deflect the ball or steal the pass or collide with the roll guy. Sometimes in the league a p&r leads to a wide open uncontested shot. Also evryone does not block out on every possesion but in 2k 15 they do its not realistic.

                              - Make MyCareer more immersive and deeper. IE: And ability to spend earnings on other things besides acessories maybe add were I can buy a bigger house or nice car or buy things for friends and family. Involve my off the court life more into the commentary. Make my decisions off court effect my play and different things on court.

                              - more immersive arenas and crowds... Kudos to 2k for adding the vibrating crowd camera in Sacramento tho its a nice touch, but we need more please.

                              - Pre game, halftime, and post game show.
                              - TNT or NBA TV brocast
                              - Ditch Kerr and Kellog please!

                              - Close ups of players shoes during game. IE: sig shoe this would be big in MC and close up of injuries a player may be playing with while its wrapped or taped up
                              - Add in game injuries where player leaves and returns then have the commentators discuss the injury.

-Better allstar weekend presentation and game play. This game imo should play completely different than the normal game itself.... Less defense more crowd pleasing flashiness! Also add a Allstar game MVP ceremony or celebration.

                              - Add D-League and Oversea options to MC and every other game mode. Dont play well get sent down or shipped off lol!

                              - More Tats/sleeves

I could go on, but that would just be nuts lol!
Pro fighter (UFC), I game! (PS4/XB1), This is my life!

Love, Live, Life and always game!

A HUGE wish- Make the lighting on the court/players better. 2k15 on the PS4/XBOX1 is so dull compared to the PC. I realize PC is more capable of certain things, but the lighting was much better on the console versions of 2K14 than they are 2k15.

If you watch games on TV, so see how bright everything really is.
