I've learned through the past few years playing sim style basketball that All-Star (Maybe Superstar) with the right sliders is great fun. Hall of Fame just puts the CPU in Win at all Costs mode.

....... Is this how you guys play that complain? If so,this is the reason why you're struggling. However, it was good for a few laughs.

Cliff notes as to the mistakes he made if anyone think the computer is "cheating" as he said.
-Never ran one set play
-Didn't utilize POE
-Over played John Wall the WHOLE VIDEO (Hilarious when John Wall toasted his *** with iso..."cheating")
-Didn't get back on defense (ALLOWING THOSE FASTBREAK) after shooting several three's (When you shoot a long J guys, manually pull your guy back up court immediately)
-If he did pull his guy back it was to half-court. He needs to be betweeen the top of the key and three point line. Playing against one of the most dangerous back courts in the league, you NEED to get back
-Never called a timeout
-Defensive settings
-Didn't utilize his teams strengths (Pick & Roll, Screens...freelance Triangle?)

Wow, I'm appalled. He even categorized his video as SIM balling?!

I posted a couple comments in the feed as I saw huge errors right off the bat. Dude completely misplayed (got out of Wall's way as he was bringing ball up) and then is complaining that his CPU teammates couldn't wipe his *** for him.

I could only watch a few series of that Bshadows game play...it was atrocious

Just to add: running an online league you run into guys who complain about any and every little thing that doesn't go their way.

QB overthrow: omg this game wants me to lose
WR drops a ball: typical Madden this game sucks wow
Opponent breaks a tackle: my team can't tackle for **** I'm getting "maddened"

It's the same thing in NBA 2K. Guys complain about every miss, every turnover, every time the CPU scores...

These people are just ridiculous and are the MOST annoying type of people out there. No legitimate gripe, just saltiness because something didn't go their way so they blame the game instead of themselves or just chalking it up to "that is sometimes what really happens".

I feel like this was my fault and do you guys think I said anything harmful or that would hurt your feelings?

Just read my comment earlier that was about 75% of the video. All I tried to do was prove that nothing in that game was 2K cheese. I thought this a little bit last year but I quickly learned what I was doing wrong and tried to do it. I would have loved to see a response to my comment because I remember one where a gamer gave feedback on our side that the game wasn't cheese and pretty much said, "Na man this is all cheese. Didn't you see everyone else agreeing with me. It's all 2K cheese."

This community is hilarious. Not everyone has time to sit down for hours adjusting sliders and trying to study real life tendencies. If I wanted to ball that hard, I'd go to a gym. I have a wife, job, and new born. When I have a little bit of free time, I just want to play a game. Win or lose... I really don't care. I just don't wanna feel cheated.

Part of the problem is there are a lot of people here that spout of/go off on 2K saying they don't know what they're doing, the game's at fault for whatever, etc. when they really don't know what they're doing or have the level of basketball knowledge they purport to have. And they rarely or never fault themselves, only faulting 2K and the game. That's why I always say people need to post full game video of their play instead of picking a couple plays out of the hundreds that occur during a game so people can critique what may/may not be legitimate. Some of these guys that are the biggest critics probably really don't know what they're doing, but they're making claims like they are saying "I want sim" and they really aren't. It's probably not all that different from people that go on American Idol thinking they really know how to sing, and when they're told they don't, they get mad and lash out instead of accepting legitimate criticism.

That's part of the danger 2K has with listening to the community too much imo; it's has to be hard to discern what's legit and what isn't. I'm no basketball expert but I know that and play within myself/love the game for what it is. You have people here that will fight to change the game when they really don't know what they're doing and don't want to accept they could be at fault. I don't know if Behindshadows was being overly critical but I give him credit; he posted full game video. I remember a few years ago watching a video from that guy ChrisSmoove or whatever his name is and wondering why people thought he was a great player - and he's leveling criticisms like he was some expert and at least from the part of the game I watched he really wasn't, to me. I just don't want 2K to change too much in trying to appease the loudest complainers.

If you added up all the 14 year's i've played 2k...the amount of time i've spent adjusting sliders probably wouldn't even equal a hour...much less "hours"

Don't know why people act like they're being asked to recode the game
