Exactly . The same people I play 2k with I also play BF4 , COD, etc and there is no where near the input delay or lag .As a matter of fact there also aren't as many disconnects .

Fifa 15 is the only other game I've really played online other thsn 2k15 since I got the ps4 and out of the 60 odd games I've played I've only experienced lag once or twice, haven't had any disconnects and there's no input lag whatsoever. If anything it is the best connection I've ever experienced in online gaming.

What I really want them to work on is the defensive mechanisms in the park. I mean i know they got it because when i play My career the defensive response is is pretty good if they could just implement that into the park it would be a great improvement. I mean i can deal with the 7 foot center/small fwrd Cheese just give me the tools to play defense against these guys. I made myplayer so he could be a defensive stopper and its sucks that all the time i put into my carrer to achieve certain badges and build myplayer for defense wont connect with the park. I even picked the old town flyers because they have a defensive up grade if u pick them. I hope 2k fixes these issues.

I ended up trading my 2k15 in while it still has some value. I'll pick it up again if they patch this but I'm done with this game until then. I'll keep my eye on this thread.

Why wouldn't you just keep it till the patch comes? You'll have to pay more to get the game back.

Game has a long way to go until it rivals last gen 2k14 in terms of online play and general responsiveness overall. Smfh...you pretty much just have to adjust to the input lag until it becomes second nature to react accordingly with the millisecond delay between user input and game output. Last gen 2k14 was a gem to play online...2k15 next gen pales in comparison but has glitz and glam. Found it shocking that Mike Wang was so flippant about this issue in the Q&A. Then again I'm beginning to think that none of the devs actually play their game online so.....

it's not the same issue online as off... offline, people are complaining about momentum that 2K devs added into the game that they felt depicted realism. I think it could be better implemented, but I understand what they are trying to do. Online, however, there is blatant and debilitating input lag... likely do to 2K servers. It wasn't an issue last gen, but on current gen systems both 2k14 and 2k15 suffer from it terribly... and do to changes of how on ball defense and how shot mechanics work in this year's game, it makes the game a bit more of a choir to play online than last year's game, to say the least.

2K DEVS SPEAK UP ON THIS AND TELL US IF WE CAN EXPECT RESPONSIVE ONLINE GAMES THAT WE GOT ON THE LAST GEN CONSOLES ANY TIME SOON! PLEASE!

On PC i find there is no input lag at all in offline modes, i can play on ball defense like never before in 2k games there.
Online there is, but today noticed it can be very low and unnoticable or very horrible. Played few games in MyTeam where it was blast to play defense and use stick moves with little to none lag and also got one game in quick ranked online where it was impossible to shoot or defend on ball at all due to massive input delay.

It can only get so good, from my experience. I am on the PS4. I play 2 different friends who are each about 10 to 15 minute drives away. We all have good and uninterrupted internet connections. We use to play completely responsive, lagless games on last gen consoles. Ever since the move to PS4 2K14 and 2K15 have had terrible latency. It's not an internet connection issue. It's a next gen 2K Server issue... and the fact that they won't speak up and address it is quite telling.

I'm considering of making some viral videos showing my button presses and the time it takes for the action to happen on screen in order to get these guys to address a problem that is absolutely killing this game for many of their fans who play the majority of their matches online...

I am pretty sure that the 2k devs are flat out lying about "momentum" at this point. Just seems like input delay to me.

Don't you find it kind of strange that the CPU doesn't deal with momentum at all?

Just try and play some off ball defense and watch how the CPU can be running full speed in one direction and turn on a dime and cut back door on you. No momentum there.

You can also tell there is input delay when you flick your right analog stick left or right on defense. You see the latency plain as day. It is a good half second.

You can also see blatant input delay when attempting spin moves. Depending on the area you are at on the court it can take a good 2-3 seconds before beginning a spin move offline. Spin moves are probably the easiest way for me to tell that input lag absolutely exists offline.

Momentum just seems like something the PR team came up with.

It is especially annoying when I go for a block and nothing happens for half a second or sometimes I press block twice and the play is already over and my guy still has that last block queued up which is just silly.

Online mypark the outdoor stuff there is some lag, not terrible, slightly worse than offline lag but REC center is just horrendous. I played it once and that was enough for me, it's impossible to stay in front of your man and shooting with the meter, well just forget about it, fortunately even when the release is red it still goes in sometimes. I will never play 5v5 again unless this is fixed which will probably not happen.

I rather save $30 and get a new game that I can enjoy then keep a game that will most likely not get patched. I haven't seen 2K address this issue, all I've seen them do is worry about MyTeam packs.
