Clearly your the only one who care about what I posted I been in contact with 2k support and that's what they gave me but clearly your he only one who notice that I gave that info to help benefit everyone here but I guess your the only one who caught on that I tried to inform the others who are waiting like me but I'm just waiting for another patch for this shoe issue to get resolved cause I havent been playing it either due to this issue.

You are the only one dude. They give us 250 slots for shoes. It adds to the realism of the game. And the problem is ppl have invested their time biying the shoes for their my career and after the patch they cant use it. That is why it is a big deal.

No he's not the only one. People are sad. They ask for more shoe and accessory updates than they do gameplay updates. Update my players knee pad. It's an off silver, not a full on silver.

Through all this I'm still a bit confused. I know LD2K said no one said the patch was resubmitted-- but was it actually resubmitted? Where did this info come from?


After a little thought, it always seemed odd to me that 2K Marketing is doing what is essentially online customer support in the first place. Seems like it would make sense for the online marketing twitter guys to continue to do what they seem to enjoy doing and appear good at, and for an online support staff to manage information about online status, updates, and patches-- the boring work of telling the same people the same thing day after day.


Marketing has the philosophy of never saying anything that could be perceived negatively, and telling customers what to feel and think-- while support has the entirely opposite philosophy of never presuming to tell a customer how to feel, but only attempts to affect that by providing information and solutions.


Feels like it may take a different methodology and mindset for a 2K online customer relations rep than it does for a social media marketer-- because as we've seen, information about the patch is treated like a marketing tool where we get information if it makes the product and 2K look better, and very little if there's worry it might reflect on 2K poorly in the immediate future, when reality, transparency and detailed updates about support issues usually build some degree of trust and understanding.

Someone quoted LD as saying "the patch was resent to MS" during Tuesday's live stream. Yesterday he said that he never said that and it wasnt resent.

No one said anything about not wanting gameplay first. The gameplay is great, its just that the shoes and hair add more to the realism of the game.

I guess for some of you , graphics , shoes and hair dont matter on top of an excellent gameplay already. If the shoes and hair did not matter whats stopping you giys from playing games like this
