It won't let me download them and hasn't since the patch came out. Whether anybody else can I don't know though I'm pretty sure I've seen others say the same.

I'm pretty sure i'm having this issue too.

Upon trying to start a new MyGM it comes up with "Save File is Corrupt and can't be loaded" on the customer rosters I try to use.

Never thought it may be due to not having the patch yet.

Correct. You can use 2k rosters but not custom ones without the patch..

Without Patch we can't see the new jerseys and Isaiah Austin face and body.

There's a pool at my job-- which happens first? 76ers get double-digit wins, Golden State gets double-digit losses, or 2K patch comes out?

I have no idea which one to take.

I swear....if it is not the patch, then they must have a monkey as their PR manager!

You have XBox and PS4 international players ALL waiting for this patch, and they continue to hype these cosmetic things???

Instead of announcing a "christmas miracle" on twitter, announce something about the freaking patch that almost all of your fan base is asking for! Geesh, how dumb are they?

Nah, you have it wrong. They are actually great at their jobs. Its just that their jobs are absolutely useless for me.

I used to follow Ronnie on Twitter a few years back until I realized that he is just a hype machine for 2k...and thats the point of his job. They arent customer service and they dont want to be. Best case scenario if you have an issue with the game, you will get a "I'll pass this along to the dev team." Worst case scenario, they will just ignore you.

You guys are getting a taste of it now. His response was simply "no updates." No discussion about what they are doing to see why MS is taking so long to produce the patch. No apology for the inconsistencies in their past updates. Just a two word response.

Now when it comes to things like Onyx Kobe and Diamond players (I dont even know what the hell those things are) their twitter feeds are filled with posts about those things. When it comes to the patch, the best they can do is two word responses. Talk about the positives....ignore the negatives.

My wife works in PR so I asked her about this situation and she was a bit surprised at their approach especially since they are getting killed on Twitter and FB but she understood. Their job is to do damage control when things are really bad but primarily its to promote new features and games.

That "No Updates" response rubbed me the wrong way as well... Plus the fact that Chris Manning (LD2K) is blocking some people on Twitter for just mentioning the Patch.

I am new here to OS and also relatively new to Xbox One. I hope that the previous posts regarding a "Christmas miracle" via 2k's twitter means the patch will come out. It would be really odd and cruel if it were to be something else.


I have a very important question regarding the upcoming patch. Since I am relatively new to X Box one, for 2k and the prior patches, in order to get them, I un-installed the game, and then re-installed it to get the patches. Of course this took forever to download. I don't remember getting the prompt that "this game needs an update" like on last generation games (i.e. PS3) just by selecting it.


If any one can simply help me (with the hope that the patch is coming today), of how to get the patch (when available) without having to install the game all over again, which I am sure there is a better way, it would be much appreciated.




I would just need a little guidance so I don't have to wait forever to install the game all over.

Honestly I never saw a difference of 10/15 days between PS4 and xBox release.
I'am shocked that there is a difference of 10/15 days between the american's release and the rest of the world regarding the PS4.
In no game I think it happened and the fault can not only be of Sony and Microsoft.

the ps4 auto downloads any patches/updates to the games i have.

the xbox should be the same or you should get an update msg once you start the game.

you dont have to do what you did lol
the only time you have to resort to that is if the game is glitching orso i guess

The prompt has always been automatic for me. Try launching something that requires connecting to the 2K servers like Park and see if there isn't a prompt. I think you need the latest patch to use any online features.
