Just came across this in my email lol. Ten business days puts it after christmas I believe?

It would be the Friday or Monday after depending on what days people are given off. Some people surprisingly have to work on Christmas Eve. So that would make the 10th day Friday. But if they don't work Christmas Eve it would be Monday. I also know that people have to work the day after Christmas because both of my parents have to work the day after Christmas.

That's great, but you have tens of thousands of others that are... 2K doesn't want to deal with being inundated with support requests when people lose all the shoes they spent VC on.. I get it.


I just wish everyone at 2K would stop telling different stories, admit that this is the issue, and that they are the hold up instead of blaming Microsoft.

It's a realistic question because there are rumblings that Rondo's trade may go down as soon as tomorrow. Because of some rule stating that players have to be on rosters for something like 60 days before he can traded.

It's definitely the worst patch launch I've ever seen yet for a console game. there is no question that they know what's going on. Microsoft wouldn't keep them in the dark if a patch was launching that much later than anticipated. And we know they've inquired about it. Someone knows. Again. This is a NFL type of move. We haven't seen the tape.....

Well, that's interesting on a couple of levels.

First, it means the patch doesn't get out on Xbone until probably after Christmas, as you said.

Second, it says that 2K support has some internal guidance at least on when the patch will in fact go live, and that information has not been shared publicly. Plus, it conflicts with the only information that has been shared publicly, according to which the patch is already overdue on Xbone.

So that confirms that 2K knows more than it will say publicly. That's no surprise. They only ever share news when they think it will make them look good. But when being transparent crosses the line of highlighting how they haven't delivered what they promised, then they go silent. They did the same thing last year with the massive server failures that took until Christmas to fix, where online play was pretty much broken.

The most charitable alternative is this is MS's fault and they can't and won't throw MS under the bus as a business partner by pointing a finger of blame that way. I would doubt that's the whole story, even if it's plausibly, partly true.

Has the lag been fixed online? It was unplayable before and I sold the game 2 weeks after launch. What is it like now?
