LD2K came in to say what he knows. Does he work for Microsoft? No. Everyone needs to calm down before bans start happening. This is beyond ridiculous at this point.

Hi Steve, sorry If I have sounded a little harsh but 2k team has had us checkin on Sony Europe with misleading information several times and every time he has come he answered with the same vague information.

As I was Quoted, i will respond. You KNOW I have the Up Most Respect for YOU and OS, but to threaten a BAN, when this thread was Made for us to express Our feelings about the Lack of Communication on the Patch. If that is what must happen, then I understand, but I dont see where Anyone did anything wrong in this thread.

There is a thin line between attacking and venting so you have to be careful. I (and hopefully Steve) have no problem with using things that we have been told to get LD (or anyone at 2k marketing) to clarify.

Steve, part of the frustration stems from inconsistent things and lack of communication and clarification after we were told these things. If we were given an explanation like we received earlier today days ago, I think most of the frustration would be pointed at MS and not LD and 2k. With that said, this thread does not give you permission to violate the TOS or attack anyone.

As VT said above, I have a lot of respect for you and OS. Therefore, I like to know the rules. Therefore, I would very much appreciate a brief explanation of why my post falls under the category you put it in (hyperventilating and aggressive). I felt like I was pointing something out, providing feedback to a Dev by pointing out to him a mistake—isn't that the point of OS?

There is a thin line between attacking and venting so you have to be careful.

There's also a thin line between attacking and criticism. Nobody was being personal. We're just reacting to what he said. Just my opinion though.

Got to be honest. I'm not feeling the threat of bans for customers asking probing questions in what looks like a respectable manner.

Nobodys effing or jeffing or being threatening.

There's a lot of cloak and dagger/silence going on here and paying customers just want a straight up answer.

The answers being brought in here are only bringing more questions.

LD2K is supposed to be the bridge here.

If nobodys telling you anything then just straight up say so.

If you know something definitive , say so.

If not

you'd of probably been better off just keeping your head down until you had a definitive answer/were more willing to offer more disclosure.

As harsh as it sounds. you're either lying or being kept in the dark.

Again I'm not attacking. I'm just being blunt here. something isn't right and others obviously feel the same.

If its the latter just cut the PR speak and say you'll try to find out.

I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you but its Steve's call. Its his site and I said in my first post that I'm not sure others staff at the site would agree with me.

I'll try to be as respectful as possible:

This thread was created for us to vent our frustrations and share any info regarding the patch. Now Steve comes in and threatens to ban people because it's getting ridiculous.

No one wants to get banned, but we will all be walking on eggshells now, thus defeating the purpose of this thread.

If we aren't allowed to speak our minds (within the TOS, of course) without having to tip-toe around, and guess as to what OS deems acceptable venting, then this thread should be locked.

It wasn't my intent to call anyone out. I used those posts because they were on the last page of the thread, nothing more, nothing less. When a newbie comes in and reads it, odds are they will not bother repeating the same type of post. We all know it is frustrating.

Maybe this was directed towards me but if not im sorry but let me bite. Dropping 64.99 on a game is not cheap. I have been playing vc games since it was nba fastbreak 98 on the seg genesis. We never got patches or updates and stuff like that.

To cut it short , with the tech and social media and the way they interact with us, if someone says they will patch up a game , which to me is okay but the patch seems to be heaven. Then they should come through. If you want someone to respect your product, then send one out with out bugs in the first place. But if you are willing to fix it (which they are doing) and give a timeline, then revert the timeline, then have us all confused, thats when we start acting spoiled. But correct me if im wrong. Wasnt this thread created for us to vent and rant and update each other?

I would like to personally apologize but i am kind of frustrated that with all these days im off from school, i cannot play the game the way the ps4 users are now.

It's no different than any other product that receives post-purchase support/updates. We know there is a patch coming. They told us when to expect it. It actually did come out in that period for PS4 (US) and PC. But it did not arrive within that window for the XB1 or non-US PS4, and we have no idea why, or when to expect it.

If I take my car into the shop to have it fixed, and they tell me it'll be ready next week, I expect it to be ready next week. If it's not, you better believe I'll be on them every day until they tell me what's going on.

im still wondering how PS4 US can okay the same patch every other branch seems to hold back lol.

its the very first time i ever experience or heard about this.

my most logical explanation would be that 2K offerd it to PS4 US first and decided to not offerd it to others because of the shoe glitch.

but since 2K said they all got the patch at the same time i guess MS and all other PS4 branches do a much better job then PS4 US
