Forget the 14 days thing.

Take a step back for a moment. Both patches were submitted at the same time. Different approval processes - even with regions.

Previous two patches were released simultaneously. This patch has not. I don't have transparency on to why that is, but promise to keep you guys informed on when we can expect it to be approved/released.

you just brought up the '14 days thing.' Swallow your pride for a minute here. I don't have a problem with the patch being late, no matter whose fault it is, but...

Hey. LD2k, can we get a patch to update the Pacers, Nuggets, and Clippers court. All three of them don't have the paint area's white lines. Is it possible to update the Clippers stadium lighting so it's darker like the Lakers? And the Miami Heat's American Airlines arena is all black now.

Do the 14 days include the weekend or not? Because could be an explanation of why it hasn't come out yet. Because if so today would be the 13th day.

Again don't hold the 14 days thing as gospel.

It's a time buffer we build in since approvals can, and this patch is proof, sometimes take a bit.

Last thing I'll say it we're hoping to get it released just like the rest of you. The game is playing phenomenal post-patch on PS4 and PC, and can't wait for you guys to receive this patch.

I think EVERYONE wants to Know WHY all the HIDING of the Info. Everyone PAID for the game and should be kept up to date on the Details, ESPECIALLY when a BIG Game Changing Patch is supposed to be released.

I think alot of on Your end has to do with MOST of You already have the Patch since You are on US PS4's. So no issues for you guys playing the game.

Take a step back and out Yourself in the Consumers point of view.

it's good to hear news and that patch is coming in few days(i hope so)
it's much better like this when some from 2K talk to us customers and explain some things...
when u here nothing from game developers then it gets really frustrating...

Also, marketing doesn't submit patches - that's done on the dev. side. We'll try to provide an update as we hear them. But it's only been less than 14 days since submission, still. I know you guys are eager, so are we.

Nobody said you and Ronnie submit patches? That's always your "go to" move when customers have concerns about the game, to disassociate yourselves from the process. The developers aren't all over social media, we don't have ways to ask them questions like we do with you.

LD2K came in to say what he knows. Does he work for Microsoft? No. Everyone needs to calm down before bans start happening. This is beyond ridiculous at this point.

When and if Microsoft informs LD2K or anyone from 2K for that matter, I'm sure either he will post it here or I will.

I understand the frustration, it will be here eventually, the sooner the better.

You keep saying the same thing. Surely you know why the approval is taking so long. Or you can ask someone from Microsoft or someone in adifferent 2k department.

You've said you would check on an estimated time and then waited days, and once again you day the same thing "maybe by the end of the week" or "we're waiting on an approval" . Those aren't updates.

You've got to have some form of transparency. How could you have absolutely no idea, unless your pulling a Rodger Godell and refusing to ask more than one person, or more than once?

I was just voicing my concerns below as well. Definitely don't want to get banned. I do feel they are valid points and I will keep this in consideration next time I post (my last post was posted before I saw yours)

As I was Quoted, i will respond. You KNOW I have the Up Most Respect for YOU and OS, but to threaten a BAN, when this thread was Made for us to express Our feelings about the Lack of Communication on the Patch. If that is what must happen, then I understand, but I dont see where Anyone did anything wrong in this thread.

I appreciate you responding today. I do have a few remaining questions though:

1) I understand that 10-14 is a "buffer" that 2k uses but thats not exactly true. The 14 day approval process is what MS says it takes for all content (downloadable games and patches). So being that they are 3 days over the limit has anyone at 2k reached out to them to see what the current status of the patch is?

2) On Friday, you mentioned on Twitter that MS had said "maybe by the end of this (meaning last week)". Is it possible to reach out to that contact and get an update?

This has got to be the first time Microsoft patch approval halts a Sony patch launch, right? We should all be thrilled, we're witnessing history!!
