LD's comment was not the most professional or acceptable thing he's ever done, it was pretty unnecessary, but it goes both ways.

People wanna compare it to their job, that's fine, I work with customers all day long at my job and while I have absolutely no business making rude or underhanded comments, that doesn't mean it's fine for the customer to get crappy with me either.

I've been called countless names at my job and just because I'm professional enough not to get rude or retort, I don't think that justifies someone for calling me vulgar names or being rude themselves. LD has taken an absolute beating over the last few days (15 actually, since the patch was submitted.).

All I'm saying it that there are guys that are being complete rude and uncalled for towards him and 2K rather than taking a calm, level headed approach like many on this thread have.

This wait is ridiculous, and being an Xbox user and a roster editor, it is completely frustrating to not be able to fully use a file I put so much work into. It's also pretty frustrating to be completely in the dark, as I'm sure all of you know.

That being said, the rude posts and sarcastic comments toward him and anyone else are unnecessary. We have no idea what he is and isn't allowed to say on here or on twitter.

While I agree with the majority of your point, I absolutely do not fall into the bolded category. Whenever I edit the rosters, sliders, and draft classes, I say that community files "Make a great game greater!" not "Make a bad game tolerable!"

You're probably right that a lot of people fall into that category, but there are plenty of us that do not.

You're probably right that a lot of people fall into that category, but there are plenty of us that do not.

Yeah, there's always some crazy complaints I see throughout the forums but I never, I just play, find the best sliders and have fun. But in all honesty, sometimes it feels like 2k gets comfortable with them being the top and the only basketball game for the past few.

I think it's similar to working in retail. Let's say I see a commercial for a product, so I go to the store to buy it. The store doesn't have the product I'm looking for, so I decide to ask someone who works there about it. But, when I ask that employee, they just walk away.

Or, at best, they say, I'll go check to see when we'll get some more in and get back to. Then they go and start working on something else. "Hey, didn't you say you were going to check and get back to me? But now you're putting up posters for a different product. What about the thing I asked about?" And they go back to ignoring me.

Is that acceptable?

My question is this.....if it is a case the patch was rejected then:

• Why is the US ps4 version available?
• Or did the US ps4 version released being unaware of found issues after the fact?

Am guessing if there is an update the same time for US ps4 users when the xb1 and European gamers receive their updates then it means that US version of the patch for ps4 out now is defective


The issues is not that the patch is delayed but because

1. Only a selected few is fortunate to experience it to this point (15 days in)
2. The lack of information
3. The fact that a lot of fixes severely needed to greatly improve the product is causing anxiety for fans of the IP is elusive, especially when we have impressions that tells us that the patch is a game changer...... literally

I sold my PS4 to buy an XBox One just so I could use the Sim World Roster… if it weren't for that I would of been enjoying my P4 patch right now smh

Just saw that OS reported that 2K has added Isiah Austin to their game.

While this is a nice gesture, and great for Isiah and his fans, how about they spend a little less time doing things like this (for now), until they release the patch?!?! You know, so everyone who purchased the game can enjoy it?

This is the last straw for me. I've seen a 2K rep come on here to make a sarcastic comment. I've heard no news what so ever regarding what is going on. No attempt is being made to keep us informed. And now they basically are slapping us in the face by providing additional content while not saying one single word of what almost all of their fan base is clamoring for.

Get it together 2K. This is seriously starting to become insulting to a consumer who purchases your product!

I'm sure both LD2K and Ronnie2K are wonderful guys and I don't care for anyone attacking them personally, but their handling of this situation is deserving of every bit of criticism it gets. Regardless of what they're actually allowed to say, what they absolutely shouldn't do is add fuel to the fire by acting arrogant. If you subscribe to the point of view that "hey, it's just a game, not the end of the world", then why should we, the consumers, care enough to purchase it in the first place?

I also don't understand why they only recognize the XB1 issue, and not the PS4 World issue, and I don't buy that Microsoft or Sony are withholding the patch. The only sensible approach to this situation would be to be forthright with their paying customers about what's causing the delay. Disrespect me and the time and money that I've invested and, guess what, I'll disrespect you right back. And I don't think I'm alone in that sentiment.
