Knowing 2K's humor, they will release the patch on Saturday @ 11:59pm.

And knowing 2k when they say it's releasing this week, what they mean is a week's worth of business days. Tuesday and Wednesday they will consider holidays, and the patch will release on Tuesday next week. Lol.

Looks like it won't be tonight though. Probably not tomorrow. I think Thursday or Friday for real

funny how they now know it "will" be ready and when.. but before, they had no clue because it was all up to microsoft's super secret approval process.

Anticipation makes the wait harder and I know a lot of folks are just venting as a way to pass the time... but its really not that serious. There is no conspiracy nor did 2k really do anything wrong to be honest... The instant gratification syndrome is running wild... I am waiting on the patch for the xbox one and full disclosure I have played it on the PS4 and while the game plays better its not like they completely changed the game its still the same game in most ways with minor tweaks... If you thought it was an unfinished piece of crap before the patch this isn't gonna change your mind... so I will suggest like I have done my self for most of my gaming life... enjoy the good things that is does well and have fun with the game...

It costs about 7.96 on average to go and see a 2-3 hour movie for entertainment.... If I get 25 hours of enjoyment from the game its earned the money I have spent... I have logged an embarrassing 365 hours... (i'm assuming some of that is times I have left the game on while I left the house) but My point is I get everyone's frustration to a point but its not as bad as some of y'all are making it to be.

I don't feel like us being upset with the patch being, at minimum, more than two weeks later than the PS4 patch, is at all indicative of instant gratification syndrome, you are of course entitled to characterize it as such, but I wholeheartedly disagree.

Just because you have the right to do something, doesn't mean it's the right thing to do. Their decision to remain silent on why this occurred is just flat out not right.

No conspiracies, no rants, but the only real recourse that any of us have who are not OK with that decision, is to withhold future purchases.

I would love to know the exact date the patch was submitted to both Sony and to Microsoft.

It does seem slightly peculiar that this year they made a financial agreement with Sony to make 'The Stage' exclusive for 30 days on the Playstation and then Sony released the main patch for the game weeks in advance before Microsoft. It could all just be a coincidence but it does make you wonder.

Either way, there is no excuse why someone from 2k shouldn't of step foward by now and informed its customers on why exactly there is this long delay with the patch for the Xbox. Its really bad communication and a really poor way to treat your customers.

This is totally subjective. Each player enjoys certain aspects of the game differently. Therefore if that something in the game isn't working properly and 2k says they fixed it in the patch then it is a big deal for THEM (fouls and teammate AI in my case).

As far as 2k's blame goes you can say what you want about whose fault it is but we've seen 4 or 5 other games get their patches approved by MS while we have been waiting so obviously MS's certification process isn't broken. The only game that seams to be having trouble is this one.

Lots of games give exclusive timed content which has nothing to do with a patch. That's just a silly comparison.

2k resubmitted the patch and lied to us about it. Thats why people are upset.

I've played the game after the patch on ps4 and its a drastically different game if you are into realistic stats, fouls and team tendencies. I played Houston this weekend and before the patch they would shoot 10-15 3pts a game. After the patch, Houston shot over 30 in one game against me.

Also for the people who wonder why 2k knows when its going to be released now and didnt a week ago....its likely that the end of this week is the end of the 14 day patch review period. They resubmitted the patch after the shoe bug was discovered and this would put them within the 14 day period.

I think you Xbox guys are going to be in for a Festivus miracle. I think many of you have aired your grievances enough over the last 2-3 weeks, so you can skip straight past that and go to feats of strength.

after this debacle with ****ed up ETAs i would think that them giving ANY info on ETA would have to mean within a few hours or they should prepare and be aware an impending riot

This debacle is exactly why they don't really like giving dates or doing things like supplying patch notes beforehand. Normally, I think they go with the "under promise and over deliver" method, but clearly this one was botched from the jump.

I'm sorry but we need to stop making excuses for 2k. The issue isnt that they gave a date or over promised....ITS THAT THEY LIED!!!!

2 weeks ago if Ronnie or LD said " Sorry guys, we found a big bug in the patch that causes purchased shoes to disappear. Its gonna take a week or two more to fix and resubmit"....most if not all of us wouldve been like "damn, well Im glad they caught the bug. I can wait a week or two".

But they didnt. They lied and blamed it on MS.
