Nobody says "It will take 10-14 days to get approved" and they actually mean "10 to 14 business days".

10 to 14 days in the video game world is 10 to 14 days. If they are going to claim it is business days... then that is even more infuriating.

That's why it was so confusing when LD said we hadn't passed the 14 day mark yet. Nobody could figure out exactly what that meant.

That's because games are released with several bugs unlike most products. My microwave works as intended. Other products do too.

If a phone has bugs in the software people feel just as entitled to get the bugs fixed.

They release these every single year to get maximum profits off us. Instead of releasing a complete game every 2 years. They have to rush development, to make profit. Which means bugs, which entitles us to fixes

I don't think we're "entitled" to fixes. They're expected to a degree, as they are with other companies that release sports games. But if a company puts out a game and you buy it, there's no guarantee a particular bug or issue can or will be fixed. Then it's up to you whether you want to choose to continue to support the company. I don't see anything with any of the games I've purchased that entitles me to software patches. That said, 2K apparently has put out one of the best sports games patches to date in this one. For people spouting conspiracy theories and wanting someone's head, it's not in 2K's interests to frustrate a significant portion of those that purchased the game.

I'm an XB1 owner and like many I saw the huge patch list and decided I didn't want to continue to play the game until the patch released. But once it got past a few days, I fired up the game and continued playing, and discovered what I already knew - the game plays pretty damn good w/o the patch. It's not like the game is in some unplayable state (despite what some here might say) and the patch makes it playable. But if people refuse to play it because they're waiting on the patch, I can respect that because I was too - for a few days.

From what I've followed of the situation, while I understand LD2K may not have been in the loop as to the status of the patch, he could've shown more empathy towards those of us on the outside looking in. Because there seems to have been no dedicated business process in place with 2K to make sure customers stay informed, and so no one took it upon themselves to do so. It seems like some are simply hurt because they don't feel valued - just my opinion. It's not a house, and it's not a car - it's a videogame. I'd say the situation is more like getting a great meal at a restaurant, but the waiter's been kind of an azz. I don't feel that way, but I can see where some do. Just because we pay $60 for a game doesn't entitle any of us to needing to know everything about their development process if they don't want to give the information freely. It's up to you if you want to let this situation affect your purchasing decisions going forward. Just my $.02

I keep refreshing the game hoping the servers being down mean an updates coming. But I'm not getting any updates. I'll keep doing this hoping to be the first person with the patch. :P. Who knows. Maybe the servers being down mean the patch is coming

Okay for some of the users here who do have a ps4 and are in the US me being one of them I can say this sucks too because just cause we got the patch it's still been a problem!? Why because I personally love the game but due to the fact that shows I purchased and want to play with in my career I cant!! Why due to the fact the ps4 patch messed up the shoes so now I'm in the same boat as the rest of the people here. I have the patch and I still don't wanna play this game because shoes I've patched and I'm trying to wear I can't because it missing/not showing up once you select them and it's like we have to wait for them to fix this problem if it's coming from a patch or just a regular update from the servers then so be it, but when asked about what's going on with the issue of the shoes in my career being fixed nothing has been said yet regarding when it will be fix or how long before it's going to be fix and it's right to release a patch and still can't play it the way you want too because of the issues with the shoes. So now it's a question that comes up. When will this be fixed with another patch for ps4 US? Or will this issue be fixed without a patch but over the 2k server because this is a big problem too and not to many people are chiming in about this so if I have to be the first I will be so what's up with the shoes issue in my career is it getting fixed with a patch or over 2k servers?

2k UK said about 10 hours ago that they don't have a date of when it will be out so I doubt it will be any time soon

It's all BS to me honestly because the same way how the XB1 and ps4 (overseas) are waiting for the patch but can't get solid information on it the same thing applies when it comes to getting answers about the why the shoes in my career since the patch on ps4 can't be equip and yet when you want solid answers as to what's going on with these issues yet we can't get any solid info or find out when you'll get the patch and when the shoe issue will be attended to and fix. Still I'm waiting to play the game because the shoe issue in my career is a clear issue to me and the other who are having this problem and yet no info on when this will be fixed or resolved.

the quietness could be because the dev team is on holidays until the new year?

and really those guys deserve holidays ... but we are paying customers who don't have something we've essentially paid for.

That what it seems like but I know hat not the case but if it was that's fine they deserve time with there families but before taking the holidays off make sure that XB1 and overseas ps4 users get there patch and the people on PS4 state side get the shoe issue in my career solved once those things are done, fixed and resolved you'll see less people venting and more people playing. Honestly these are probably the main 3 reason right now keep people from playing 2k the lack of info about the patch for oversea ps4 users and XB1 users and the fact that people who do have the patch for ps4 can't equip shoes and get them to stay on. fix those main 3 problems that you clearly see everyone talking about and you won't have no anger upset venting consumers.

I honestly don't even care. I just been playing Madden online, working and working out. Lol whatever. When they decide they want to finally fix the issue, they will. I'm all out of patience and I'm done checking back and forth.

This goes one of two ways for me, it either comes out tonight or tomorrow...or not until after the holidays.

It would make sense for this week, right before the holidays:give your new customers the best product possible.

It's not like the game's unplayable it's just annoying dealing with certain problems online when they've been fixed. The park is so trash with all the lag in it right now. And all my friends and I got off this week so a little quality time on 2K would be cooler with the patch..
