It's amazing how Rockstar just released a huge update to GTAV today, and everyone in the world was able to download it at the same time.

Even more amazing: both Rockstar and 2K are owned by the same company. I just don't get it.

for me the big question is Sony Australia outright said the patch isn't a case of regional submission. It gets released and that's that. its not for sony to distribute ...

so 2K released it for the U.S then pulled it for everywhere else on PS4.


why would they do that?

and why after 19 days would it still be unavailable with it looking more and more like we won't receive it until the new year?

imo, 2K has some 'splainin to do.

Thank God for Dragon Age, hopefully by the time I'm finished with this this fiasco is over. Good grief.

Just letting yall know , i got an update for lego batman 3 and an 11 gb update for killer instinct. They talked about these getting updates two days ago and right on time the updates happen. I dont think this fiasco is a microsoft mess up.

Sadly, the patch is not available everywhere yet. If you live outside of North America, it may take some more time before you can get it.

Ok let me first say I am NORMALLY NOT a Conspiracy Guy. The last few days have caused me to wonder a few things with these Gaming Patches.

In the past few days the Movie "The Interview" was pulled from theaters due to Threats. Now bear with me on this. As we ALL know when things like these become PUBLIC the Private Sector has known about it ALOT longer.

Now these actions COULD have caused a Threat Level raise on Microsoft's End to Protect USER information. THIS could cause certain games to NOT be released due to NOT passing the Standards of Security with Increasing of Threat Level. It would ALSO Explain WHY No INFORMATION is being released by Basically ANYONE.

Now i know some will say WHY did US PS4 get the Patch? My guess would be that once Microsoft caught this, Sony raised their Threat Level as well with Certain games, but had already released the Patch.

I know it is a stretch but just was trying to have a Rational Explanation for all of this. I am just throwing this out there, dont come back with any "You are Carzy, etc comments". As I said it is a WILD idea, but in today's world STRANGER things have happened.

I'd buy this more if we were waiting on SONY to release it as they were the one who was attacked. I still think it was rejected and 2k won't admit it.

You are correct, but War doesnt Just have to be Bombs, etc. Cyberwar is Just as dangerous these days, as it can QUICKLY Ruin a Country.

As I said just a Crazy idea.
