Lets just admit guys. 2K wasnt even thinking about putting out another patch until they learned about the MyCareer glitch. It was only 3 weeks after that glitch and 3 months after the shoe glitch

I mean think about it. They were so quick to put it out so they can fix the VC farming, they didnt even release the patch notes.....

I take back everything I posted before...this patch is trash. At least as far as what it does to playing Online Ranked Games.

If you're looking for SIM basketball, this patch is a step BACKWARD for 2K....a big step backward.

It's almost impossible to miss a shot now...and guys skate around like they are freaking Wayne Gretzky. I've said this before, but now it is even WORSE than ever.

It's becoming clear 2K doesn't care about HALF the game...which is called DEFENSE. Because this patch completely overpowers the offensive side of the ball.

If you're a mouth-breathing, soul-sucking, cheeser idiot who just wants to TURBO up and down the court with the same unstoppable player shooting only 3's and spin layups while trying to drop 50 pts in a 5 minute quarter game...

...then this patch is for YOU!!!

Apparently, mouth-breathers are a target market for 2K....because this patch appeals to almost no one but them.

Don't believe me...go online and play an Online Ranked Game against someone average or good at this game.

Good luck playing defense....good luck stopping (or even slowing) the already overpowered players....good luck holding your opponent to under 50% with smart defense....here's a HINT....there's no such thing.

2K obviously seems determined to turn this game into NBA Jam 2K15 or NBA Street 2K15.

What a disaster. I'm willing to wait a few days to see if they make any adjustments, but this is absolutely a step BACKWARD for those of use who actually want to play a SIM basketball game on next ten consoles.

They may have "fixed" a few things...but doing so has left the game completely unbalanced.

Anyone play Park or a HOF/SIM game and is it a lot easier to make shots?

It's almost like you can't miss...I'm dead serious.

Don't worry...in a few days or a week 2K will "fix" it....and then it will be IMPOSSIBLE to make a shot.

Are you just playing quick ranked games? I don't play those at all because I don't like the difficulty it's on.

Have you played Park or anything on HOF/SIM? Is it still easy?

The shooting definitely feels alot better imo. I don't agree with coached17's assessment of shots feeling too easy. Also noticed less and 1s after a foul. God They were abundant before.. I'm also enjoying how much more freedom I have on defense; Doesn't feel like I'm in molasses now. The slowdown framerate that occurred in the paint at times seems to have been eliminated. Good improvement. Not saying the patch is perfect, or fixed everything. But I'm certainly liking some of these fixes.( Played 5+ quick games offline)

I've played Online Ranked Games and just played RTTP in MyTeam.

Shooting is extremely easy if you're a decent shooter.

I agree that you can move better on defense...but it doesn't do much good when shots go in WAY more than they used to.

Hop online and play...see if you feel the same.

Are you playing HOF/SIM?

Obviously the online games are NOT HOF/SIM...so that could be WHY you don't think shooting is too easy.

Defense definitely took a hit here...at least for now.

Good luck stopping anyone online with a SUPERSTAR player with an easy release.

Any word yet on what exactly this 2K patch fixes. Particularly with regards to the PC version.

I'm not much of an online player. But as far as offline, my opinion still stands. I'd consider myself a decent shooter, than again, might not be up to par with your god like shooting pedigree.

I actually agree with you....

Its always some guys on here claiming the game is too easy, par for the course.

What I do notice, and i've only played the Cavs twice is how much more aggressive CPU LeBron is though... like the guy has lived off Gatorade the last 2 months

I will say, prior to this patch, I was very mediocre hitting jumpers with Giannis (understandably so...he still needs to find his J). First game after the patch, I went 14-18 with him, all but 3 shots were long jumpers.

I'm satisfied with this patch, it just feel like you got more control over thing's much better. and for all those free agents disappearing in myleague and mygm that will not happen because it's plenty of slots left in the free agent pool nice work.
