I'm not much of an online player. But as far as offline, my opinion still stands. I'd consider myself a decent shooter, than again, might not be up to par with your god like shooting pedigree.

I actually agree with you....

Its always some guys on here claiming the game is too easy, par for the course.


What I do notice, and i've only played the Cavs twice is how much more aggressive CPU LeBron is though... like the guy has lived off Gatorade the last 2 months

I didn't make the comment to stroke my ego and tell everyone at OS how AWESOME I am at the game. This isn't a pissing contest...so don't turn it into one.

However, there is a huge problem with threads like this and people who post...if you're ONLY playing OFFLINE and refuse to even TRY one game online to experience what I'm talking about...then why should we bother listening or debating?

You're comparing games against the CPU for crying out loud. You only know how the shooting is for YOU. Go online and watch someone make 75% of their jump shots and tell me if you still have the same opinion.

I will say, prior to this patch, I was very mediocre hitting jumpers with Giannis (understandably so...he still needs to find his J). First game after the patch, I went 14-18 with him, all but 3 shots were long jumpers.

And my question would be to those who don't see an issue...is that anywhere near REALISTIC?

Giannis is an average shooter, at best. All of his shooting ratings are in the LOW 70s. And you're cashing 77% of your shots with him.

It's pretty clear shooting has a better FEEL to it now...but it's also extremely overpowered.

What I am noticing is that shooting seems more of a function of the release now. That and shot quality...if you are open and get the release even close....cash it, it's money.

I play competitively offline. I would think that just because one chooses not to play online doesn't necessarily mean one exclusively plays against the cpu. In fact, offline is a better gauge for testing the shot meter ( whatever the case) as it isn't hindered by the ususual trappings of playing online with a less than consistent connection. (Come on buddy these are 2k severs. Which are laughably bad to say the least) Maybe you should grow up and understand telling others to "GROW UP" is hypocrisy.

Whatever man...you've missed my point. You're debating me about this and havent even played ONLINE to TEST it.

Also...the patch seems to coincide with better server performance. Ive had the smoothest connection ever tonight. There's some lag, but it's slight.

You and your buddy are throwing out insults, I'm just trying to throw out FACTS...and I'm being civil about it. I'm sorry you took my comment on shooting the wrong way. As I said before, my comment was not about me proclaiming my greatness in 2K as a shooter. If you've ever read ANY of my posts, you'd understand that I admit I'm an AVERAGE player.

But you keep wanting to turn this into an argument over who is better at 2K15...which isn't what its about.

I'm not saying you have to play online to be good...I'm saying that for your argument here about the shooting to hold any water, it would probably help if you at least played a game or two online. But you refuse...which is fine, that's up to you.

But don't get upset when myself and others don't agree with you and see things differently.

We'll see how it plays out over time as far as the online shooting goes. I'm guessing (hoping?) eventually others will see that the shooting mechanics are obviously better, but overpowered.

Some are weighing in with how they love it now, because THEY are making more shots because its easier. We'll see if they are still happy when they start trying to play online and have to deal with people scoring 80 or 100 points a game in 5 minute quarters with superstars dropping 50...with no counters or any way you can really do something about it.

If that's the case...then I'm playing the wrong game and 2K might as well change the name to NBA Street Jam 2K16 next year.

I am noticing that shot timing has improved. I am hitting far more perfect releases now.

Yeah I hit a ton more green releases than I usually would in the two online games I played tonight.

Cant believe how long it takes to download patches and games with the PS4, thought th enew consoles, this stuff would be much quicker. Anyway once it finally downloaded I played a game, and cant say when it comes to gameplay anything was touched. I was hoping they tweaked some things in My League and MY GM, but I doubt that happened. As for shoes or online I don't have much use for either, although if I happened to notice a player shoes are different in My League than they are IRL I will change it, but I don't really pay attention to what a plyers shoes are, Im more concerned with actually watching the game,lol.

Just tested out the patch in online ranked.(I play a TON of online ranked games with a very good record btw). I agree, this game is much more cheesy online now.

My very first game, I played a guy who was able to score 54 on me with harden on mostly contested jumpshots, and this isnt a exaggeration. He jacked up 24 3's with harden alone and made 10 of them which equals close to 42%.

The scariest part is that this guy wasnt even a good cheeser, he was absolutely atrocious at creating any open looks/ space for him with his zig zags. Also the amount of leaning contested shots this guy was making with people right in his face feels very 2k13 ish.

I cant even imagine how awful it will be for the people who play park or myteam. This really killed the game for me, I probably will be putting this game down now and moving on to something else.
