For a video game that will always have bugs and glitches the gameplay is nearly flawless IMO. There isn't one game breaking issue that I have come across in 15. I think the tome has come to where 2k can stop worrying about fixing legacy issues and focus on adding innovative features to the gameplay to keep the series moving forward.

Obviously you don't play MyPARK. Gameplay took a step back for online multiplayer:

    1) Hacks are back
    2) Cheesy unrealistic gameplay
    3) Cheesy shot meter
    4) Attribute caps and badges. Centers can have crazy handles, etc.

2K needs to bring back some sim online, especially for Jordan Rec Center. If the 12 yr olds want to play NBA JAM, make a separate mypark. Sim park and Arcade Park. Something like that. Spend an hour or 2 at MyPARK or JRC and your brain will start hurting from all the BS unrealistic "basketball" you see. For people who KNOW basketball, it's a huge turn off. Concept is great, gameplay is cheese.

Seems that so many NBA 2K games play great at launch, and then always inevitably get screwed up by some future patch to bring in the casuals.

For me, NBA 2k13 is still the best OVERALL 2k of all time, from the very nice and fun gameplay, to the amazing association mode, and great modding community (PC obviously), and I hope 2k16 could prove me wrong, because I don't think it'll be better.

Honestly I like 2K9 the best still. I think the rims and stuff looked better and the quick matches I had back then weren't full of cheap gameplay.

The court's polish and the arena lighting is what has me playing 2k14 again everything else bodes in 2k15's favor IMO

NBA2K15 is a total cheese fest. I hope next year they fix this garbage.

I hope 2k aint listening to this one.

The lighting was better though. Tired of this arena morgue look in 15. What a bad idea

This is what has me a little nervous about 2k16 and the fact that we haven't even had a screenshot at this point doesn't help.

My question is what happened to all that talk about them taking the temperature of the lighting in each stadium to make each arena look as life like as possible I remember them saying this in the promotion of 2k14, but all that was taken away in 2k15 with everything looking darker on court

I think that was all about the score board or something not the arena itself

Anyway we'll see demo videos next month at gamescom. Its the beginning of august so once the month rolls around it'll come fast

Oh my mistake I thought it was about the arena lighting, either way I am looking forward to that game footage next month to see if it was improved.

Me too but honestly wish they'd change the textures especially on the jerseys

YES along with correct colors its almost safe to say they took a step back graphically in 2k15 besides for better faces for most the league, not sure why there was a drop off in just the second year of the new systems.

NBA 2K14 on next-gen was awful. 2K15 improved in a lot of areas but there are still things that were done better in the last-gen versions.

I only have about half the league but I'll be finishing it very soon. If you notice any mistakes please let me know.

2k9 overall arena atmosphere and crowd reactions are still the best to this date.

I agree!! Also the player movement feels for free flowing and has less sliding than 2k15 in my opinion.
