Pretty clear a lot of guys here are big into legends/retro.

Anyone on PS4? I'd be down to start a season/league with these teams, or quick matches to run some goodtime classic matchups.

Not a fan of playing the computer and I know there's way less input lag with private matches vs play online.

I'm on PS4, but being in the UK the lag is ALWAYS horrendous. I'm normally an exclusive offline player, but would always be up to play a few with you guys.

They had these dunk packages up until 2k12 I wanna say when they took them out.

Which touches on your other point.. WHY do they remove good aspects to the game? To make more memory for my career or something?

I think some animations or game aspects get lost in the shuffle as the game matures in other areas. For instance, signature ball-handling took a real step back in 2K13 upon the introduction of right stick dribbling. Because of the ball-handling control change, 2K had to dial back those signature dribbles to allow the first right-stick dribbling system to function properly (it was very basic at the start). They've been slowly working that ball handling customization back in ever since.

I think the signature dunking began to take a little bit of a hit in 2K13 as well, but almost on accident. I may be wrong, but I think that's when 2K began fleshing out dunk customization, with their 10 custom dunk slots.

I have a feeling 2K figured people could just make their own dunk packages from there on out. In many cases, they're right - those dunk slots have been great. But then again, a lot of those dunk options don't precisely capture the essence of some of the game's all-time greats. It'd still be awesome to see those unique styles accounted for.

Have you used 91 MJ at all? The way he moves and his handle is pure peak MJ. He's crazy quick, his first step is deadly, he finishes around the rim, he flies around on defense, he has great footwork, midrange game and his vertical and dunks are spectacular. Also maybe it's my imagination or seeing what I want to see, but it seemed like the 91 Bulls jerseys had the glossy/shiny appearance on the jersey numbers and lettering. I know they had it in 2k11 but I don't think they've had it in since. Could be wrong though. Either way looks better than it has recently.

I always had a hard time finding this perfect signature MJ dunk in 2K. Look at this:





He leans towards the basket in the air, and always has his left arm and hand stretched all the way. If his hand doesn't look like that when he's at the peak, then it's not completely authentic MJ dunk.

Can this exact signature dunk be found in the game?

Nope. As they are doing more mo-cap in a few weeks, I hope they tackle some more authentic MJ animations...including air reverses. They need to bring that one hand pump fake too.

Preaching to the choir! I always hated that they had to have LONG socks with stripes. But I would take that any day instead of black. SURELY this will get fixed. Also really miss the converse weapons.

Wish there was option to play on current arenas like previous yrs... The classic courts are awful, maybe someone can recreate the classic arenas

I absolutely hate that there's ZERO authentic arena sounds, and hasn't been since 2k12. The arena's are dead.
