My copy of 2K16 should be arriving today. It may be a while before you guys hear from me again, since I'll be busy creating shoes, accessorizing Legends and editing their skills, etc.

Yeah, the Nike Blazers are what I went with in the end. Pity there's not more diversity in the retro shoe department. Looks like I'm gonna have to dig in and create some myself.

Dave I'm sure you know this, but the Reebok Pump Omni lite that Dee Brown made famous and that both Horace Grant and John Paxson wore for the 1991 Bulls are in the game and editable



Also Rob Jones on Twitter said they will be scanning and adding the Jordan 6 soon. As well as more Jordans and other shoes.

Yeah, I've seen the Reeb pumps for the 91 teams, I'm struggling more so with the earlier 80's squads. Not much selection right now, especially thanks to the converse glitch!

i really like the triangle freelance this year. faster responding time when the players are at the right spots. besides, the triangle plays are very "triangle-based" too. for instance, i run the punch play for MJ, and the bulls will form a nice triangle with him on the wing initiating the pass. the ball swings to the other side and he will cut to the weak side fighting for low post positioning. using circle or triangle button to feed him the ball makes the game easier.

one thing i find it cumbersome was i have to keep holding LT (in 2k15, i pressed Y once) to protect ball for every player who has the ball. anyone figure out a better way to protect ball?

Dominique Wilkins was wearing at some point his own signature leg accessory. I'm not sure if he had it in 1986, but at some point in the 80's he was wearing a black knee pad with (kind of) off-white stripe at the top. But it may have been around the late 80's and not in the mid-80's, I'm not really sure...







Regarding MJ, we should be able to give him his signature calf sleeve - but as a KNEE pad. He was wearing it like that in the late 80's.

This looks like it's from the 1987-88 season, but I thought he used to wear his calf sleeve as a knee pad back then. Maybe it's from the beginning of the 1988-89 season, which is still weird. And I'm pretty sure he wore this "bizarro" calf sleeve every now and then during the 1989-90 season and playoffs. Weird...

Haven't read the entire thread, so not sure if this has already been posted...

This year's legends actually look alright. Haven't played 2K16 much yet, but looking at players in the edit screen, I was mostly surprised and a little disappointed. First, T-Mac and Vince Carter look horrible. Not so much Carter (looks like a CF from an earlier game), but McGrady looks nothing like himself. Surprisingly other players look great (considering they were generated and not scanned). The Blazers look real good as do the Mavs. Ben Wallace looks almost as good as scanned as do a few others.

Overall great effort by 2K, but perhaps updates to Carter and McGrady are in order.

Yep, T-mac and Carter are pretty shocking representations. Can't understand how some of the legends are totally on point, yet some are absolutely horrendous.

Overall though, 2k did a stella job. They really proved me wrong, which I'm grateful for!

Update on the Raptors discussion earlier in this thread.

1. The Vince Carter statue of liberty one handed reverse 360... Is in there! But, I did one with TMAC and not VC.. It looked pretty good, and I have seen Tmac do one before after whistles, but I don't think that was 2ks reasoning. At least it exists though.

2. Vince Carter's signature leg fade he use to have on his leaning shots is in there. It actually looks intentionally added.. So that's a good sign they at least WANT to make these guys (and others) look good and maybe it wasn't just a copy paste roster edit after all.

Well apparently, they're still working on in game shoes, I've read 2k are still scanning a bunch of stuff that will be updated by the end of the week.

If they can do that with shoes, then perhaps.............you know where I'm going with this.
