Re: Will MJ actually look like MJ this year?
There in the game already...there are honestly like 4 or 5 teams with Jordan on them and none of them are the '02 Wizards.Comment

Re: Will MJ actually look like MJ this year?
Vince Carter had a beard and same exact body as his 37 year old grizzly scan as his MyTeam 2007 nets player. That is unacceptable in my eyes. If the classic teams don't have accurate models/faces AND packages I will be bummed. Seriously if they spent time on the 2000 raptors VC with his exact dunks and play style I would SERIOUSLY buy the game just for that type of inclusion... I've been dying to play with a young VC forever. Same goes for young MJ, Lebron, Tmac, etc. This is huge for me. Whether that is selfish or not I can't understand the inclusion of these classic teams as just roster edits basically....please 2k..or sign me up I will design those guys religiously for 10$ and hour...

But I have no desire to play with a quick roster edit to give a 35 year old model/face a different jersey and higher attributes and pretend it's the same

I admit, 15 he could have looked better, but I really don't think he looked as bad as people are claiming on here. I thought it looked like Jordan. But that's just me.Comment

People tend to use the worst expression they can find to get their point across, but he was definitely off in 2K15....hope they worked on him....
Here's his neutral player edit screen face (has a color filter)

Re: Will MJ actually look like MJ this year?
I think part of the problem with the Jordan in the game is that he doesn't have enough signature animations (expressions and lay ups and pump fakes etc) that were in 2k11 and 2k12. Also the textures of the legends seem off in comparison to the current players models.Comment

Re: Will MJ actually look like MJ this year?
Yeah, the legends don't seem to be on the same plane as far as facial expressions go....
2k has touched up on it even more in 2K16 for current players...hopefully they let the legends get in on the fun too....Comment

Re: Will MJ actually look like MJ this year?
The bigger part of the problem is the small body frame and the weird head shape.... Just doesn't capture Jordan's essense. Along with what dude said about his signature play.Comment

Re: Will MJ actually look like MJ this year?
See, now that's not bad at all. But it doesn't translate well to in game models.-----------------------------------------

Re: Will MJ actually look like MJ this year?
When 2K11 dropped and I took MJ into Boston Garden (1986 version) and he was doing stutters and amazing "young Jordan" finishes at the basket, I almost lost my ****!
Even the 1986 Jordan in 2K11 had a different jump shot to the 1998 Jordan. The detail was amazing!
Understandably, they have had bigger fish to fry since re-building from the ground up for next gen. But here's hoping they found some time.....
To gun at that 2K11 level of MJ sig glory with next gen engine/graphics...... legend balling in 2K will re-emerge as a time consumer.....
Fingers crossed!Comment
