    Absolutely disgusting.

If I was just that little bit more stubborn, this would be a game breaker for me.

Can't believe this is the 3rd year on the new gen consoles and they haven't updated the visuals of the classic teams.

    This isn't on.

Gonna keep plugging this as much as I can through the year, try and get 2k to take notice.

Man this is awful I actually despise 2K a bit now for having a $80 Jordan edition WITHOUT EVEN HAVING A MICHAEL JORDAN IN IT. Really we could just make the same thing in an hour, an angry bald dude with layup packages similar to Kobe.

I mean the whole point of wanting these teams is not to have roster edits made by us, but actual developers creating authentic classic teams. Do they just think we don't care about that?

It sucks for the guys like me who don't care about myplayer, because that is literally all they care about now.

            Ha, depressing but true.

At this point, it's cool to see a lot of the new inclusions but with the 2004 Pistons news and the apparent lack of graphical improvement, I feel a little better about not having the means of buying this game at the moment. I still want to play it, but I think I can wait until my younger brothers pick it one up.

It would be somewhat understandable if they didn't dare put him on a cover...but now it's gonna draw even more attention to how terrible he looks. That's not Michael Jordan. 3 years in a row! Unchanged.... Unacceptable and disrespectful to the Greatest of all time.

Re: Will MJ actually look like MJ this year?

I just can't understand how they spend time and money giving us 12 new classic teams, and not even think to update the existing ones - as someone mentioned, it's like they've just been tacked onto the game to shut us up, akin to having a load of caps instead of dedicated art teams creating these players and their actual likenesses.

In all honesty, I'm SHOCKED Jordan himself (Not that he'd bother with such things like gaming) hasn't said something about this, we all know his ego is quite substantial.

Bottom line, this 'player' we have as Michael Jordan in the game is a generic knock off.

As I've pushed for months now - if they looked accurate on last gen, what possible excuse have they got for looking WORSE on current gen?

Pffft. Am ROYALLY pissed right now.

Just literally pulled out my pc controller and a copy of 2k14 with the Ultimate Base Roster. At least THEY got it right.

Re: Will MJ actually look like MJ this year?

I'm a little confused from a marketing standpoint why they'd release a Jordan Special Edition and not have Jordan properly represented in the game visually...

2K16 has the tools to be the best 2K ever but they have to fix the cyber-faces... Nothing turns off a hardcore NBA fan than to see some of the most notable players not properly displayed... And 2K's past track record speaks for itself in regards to Jordan, they KNOW how to make him look correct, they just gotta re-implement it.

Lmao, I told y'all a couple of weeks ago not to get your hopes up. Just because they added teams did not mean that classic art was going to be updated. It's not the primary focus in the grand scheme of the game and gets put on the backburner tbh. The next time retro anything will be the focus will be when the next lockout occurs because everything current will be the same as the year prior so they'll have to utilize legends to sell the game like 2k12.

I guess this also means we get Larry Bird with the bad hair again.... His hair looked better on Larry Bird vs Dr. J for my old Commodore 64...

Well Dirk is always the indicator to get a feel for it (he's usually in the first trailer released) and he looks like his hair came from heaven so I'm sure Bird still looks like Tina "Rod Stewart" Turner.

I think people are basing this off a video for when you enter the Park for the first time or something. At least that is the only time I have seen him. Not in gameplay, edit player, etc.

I don't recall there being a ton of people disputing the idea of the classics not getting any graphical TLC. However, it makes sense we'd hope for the best. As such, negative results were going to be a bummer one way or another.
