I did not buy NBA2K for PS4 or XBOX1, but seeing those pics... legends are atrocious this year!!!!!! I`m impressed with so many mistakes!

You're missing out. The legends play amazingly despite their looks.

I'd say keep an open mind. Some of the models are still pretty rough but they improved a lot of the characters as well from what I can see. I picked out Hardaway, Price, etc. because they're the ones that still stuck out, but they're not all like that. It takes a pretty solid product to earn daveberg's seal of approval. Classics are still flawed, but they're moving in the right direction.

Seeing those '89 Pistons jerseys side-by-side is a little rough though.

I just finally got the historic teams unlocked in play now online and... Idk.. I played 8 games straight with the Raptors and hated it.

No authenticity other than the court, which looks nice, but crowd blows so who cares.

I can't even look at Vince on cut scenes because he looks so bad, tmac looks buff like his recent years (hes supposed to be 19 here). It ruins the immersion.

That and everyone plays so generic. It feels like hey here's 12 generic players and we boosted Vince Carter's to 99 dunk 99 vertical with about no signature movements or attacks so you can drive and dunk every play with Vince or Tmac.

His shots not even right either it's not smooth at all. His strides are small and Davis and Oakley are just like every other big who can dunk as well as Howard with any space.

Historics are just not very correct

daveberg did you finish your video of the Classic Bulls Playbook?

I'm still playing to 2k11, i created Heat 97, it is better than next gen graphics.
97 knicks are ready.
I can't stop imagine playing the 1993 finals when i watch the graphics! But îm happy that barkley is not on next gens because we should certainly disapppointed bu the graphics.

The only thing i'm not happy, everybody is agree to say that Classic player are ugly once again and everybody give money to 2k or Sony.
I havn't understand that since Barkley is not in 2k12, Phil Jackson is not in 2k12, Horace Grant got white googles with the Classic magic in 2k12 and not Blue and Classic paint disappeared in 2k12.

Plus i still believe That the distance between the free throw Line and the circle is too short and break the gameplay.

There is a new thread to speak just about good things of the game... Only 6 post lol while with i said before it should be 500 post every day?? No every second!!!

Comon 2k? No comon guys!!! Don't give your money like that!!!

The legends, I've accepted, are simply a tack on, to keep guys like us happy. For all the little things they've given us, there is also a HELL of a lot they can improve, but simply won't because all 2k seems to care about is online and fantasy modes, which sadly, seems to be what the majority of 2k consumers are interested in.

Until this changes, which I highly doubt it will, we'll see the legends play second fiddle and fall short of the mark.

That said, I've come to terms with it now, simply because I find the game to play so well. I'm gradually getting rid of all the generic shoes, equipping players with better/more accurate accessories, editing their dunk packages/sig shots etc so it delivers a better experience for me. I can honestly say the game plays like a dream for me, personally.

Lol, just goes to show you how invested in the legends I am, had this game several weeks - still haven't used a single current team, and probably won't for the foreseeable future.....

I surely do. 2k11 bumped the 2k games into the stratosphere with the inclusion of Jordan.

Problem is, 2k know people LOVE to go online and would rather play mypark or whatever it's called than worry about the aesthetics of teams that no longer play in the league.

Pity we don;t have more modding options as the pc does, then we could all dig in and change things like cyberfaces and bodytypes etc.
