Pinch post I believe it's called, though don't quote me on that. There used to a be a 'rub' play very similar to this in past 2k's.

And yes, I do use the triangle. Like I said, I'll post up a short video of all the plays in the Bulls book soon.

Ok thanks you that's what i though. it is min Pinch in 2k12 or 42 rub (roll) in 2k11, and 41 up 2.

you didn't play like that before i told you that you didn't use correctly the Triangle offense.
It is just the night and the day and it is really more pleasant to watch. No need quick isolation!!
The score is really better too!!

I play how ever I choose to play so long as it fits my definition of sim.

Running the triangle constantly is not always effective in this game, as the AI doesn't flow to the correct spots in time and the clock runs out, so you adapt, as I do, and play to get a bucket.

It's impossible to say that I didn't use the triangle correctly - before I used freelance, I was exclusively using plays from the Bulls triangle playbook.

Also, If you know the Bulls as well as you say you do, you'd know the Jordan and Pippen broke the triangle and played outside of it. Jordan normally ran iso's outside of the triangle when he had high scoring nights, as the Bulls would keep feeding him the ball.

I remember one 50 point game in particular MJ actually apologized to Tex Winter & Phil and said sorry for breaking the triangle.....

I don't know the Bulls enough, and there are plenty of thing i still have to discover, but one thing is sure your last game is 10 000 x better than your first games. There is no comparison.
Effectively when i watch some Bulls game, sometimes they runned the triangle weirdly and it was not exciting to watch them play like that: Bad pass, bad choice, bad 3 point shot, turn over, they didn't respected the triangle offense. And game like that, it was a lot of game!!
But i think i know about 15 triangle possibilities, which are very interesting.
You know my video about pinch post, i watched maybe 50 games (sometimes full game) and i didn't find a lot of this pinch post you know. And i really though that i would have find really more! i was disappointing because i believed that i understood triangle offense!!
So no i didn't know the bulls, but your last game is quitly better than the first.

You'd think that any thread larger than a few pages would garner some kind of attention from 2k. Far as I've heard, Ronnie & gang are aware of sock issues, but it seems they're only interested in fixing that stuff for Mycareer etc.

As I've said, if 2k can give you the option to have arm bands and have selective colours, what's the issue with doing it for socks? Is there some HUGE coding conflict caused by implementing the ability to chose sock colour?

Whatever the issue is, I will be absolutely gobsmacked if 2k actually fixes this - you know they'll focus on the fantasy modes instead though.....

Done both before over the years, completely ignored. They only ever seem to want to comment on the mycareer/online stuff.

Anyways, I love the game, a few errors here and there aren't going to stop me playing it. We just keep this thread alive to make others aware (Hopefully) of the issues.

Didn't know where else to post this but playing last night, Showtime Lakers (me) vs Bird's Celtics (CPU). I grab a long rebound with Magic and start the break. I have Michael Cooper and James Worthy running, Bird and Mchale back.

In stride Magic whips a one handed pass to a streaking Cooper for the dunk. the pass was thrown right off the bounce, basically a little touch pass rocket. As Magic whips the pass he just turns his body in teh animation and goes back on defense.

It was amazing. I've been playing a lot of current rosters (clippers and knicks). I started out with half court sets and the Celtics just smothered me. Once i started pushing the tempo with magic the game just opened up. The 2k team really did a fantastic job capturing the style of those Lakers!

Also, download MJWizards complete classic rosters. The socks are fixed.

Already sorted the socks out a couple of weeks ago with ankle braces, it's a crude fix, but it does the job for now.

MjWizards does a great job on rosters though, If I didn't work on my own, I'd almost always go straight for his.

And hell yeah - Magic and the lakers are beastly this year!! One of the toughest teams to beat for me so far. Love matching up against them with the Bulls though - Pippen digs in deep and does a great job on handcuffin Magic when he gets hot.

Can never tire of watching a youthful prime MJ at his athletic best, (obviously) but there was just something special about older Mike, his IQ and mastery of the game was off the charts.

I hear you on the coaches - I don't think there's a single one of the classic coaches that's actually legit - that's a pretty poor effort right there.

Doing my roster edit, I've seen some shocking stuff too. Giving players like Spree move sets of centers and big men....wtf???
